Hey everyone,

I finally have a CONFIRMED due date! its the 24 MAy 2006. I have just got back from my scan as i was in Hospital over night with bleeding, turns out i have a low lying placenta and its covering my cervix...(hmm wish i knew exactly what that meant)

I also found out that I am having a little GIRL!
Very excited!

I had a low lying placenta too. This early they can shift away so try not to worry just yet. But if it doesn't later on, a csection will be required.

YAY - Congrats on having a GIRL!

Sounds like they could have given you more info on your placenta though. It sounds like placenta previa, and it can often move, but if it is completely covering your cervix, i am not sure it can move much (not 100% sure of this). I'd definately be asking some more questions as a c-section might be on the cards.
