Ok I think maybe I am grasping at straws here but I need advise

My af was a day late and it was only a little heavy for the first half of the day then spotting for 1 day then nothing....Had a blood test on CD31 and it was negative...I normally have a 28 day cycle.

Do you think it was too early for HCG to show up?

My question is how many of you have had a BT come back negative and found out later you were pregnant?

My FS wants me to go back in a week to have another BT as my period was wierd.

Do you think there is hope still or am I over thinking the whole thing.

By the way I have other symptoms including, sore boobs, viens, and brown rings around my nipples...feeling a bit off and very tired, also a strange taste in my mouth.

Cheers Helen

Hi helen,

When did you O??? was it possibly later than normal and that no implant has occured yet ??

But I'll need to be honest here though...a neg BT means no pregnancy.

I hope though it can be turned around and your BT was done too early. :fingerscrossed: It's not over till AF turns up good and proper.

best wishes to you.

Helen, I dont want to alarm you, but this sounds very similar to my 2nd ectopic pregnancy.

A blood test and a urine test both came back negative, when I was actually 5 weeks pregnant. I didn't find out for sure until a week later when I had really weird spotting, and they did another test. Then 2 weeks after that they found that it was another ectopic after it ruptured.

Please keep on getting hcG tests as often as possible to see if your levels become noticeable or not; and then get an ultrasound ASAP to check where your baby is.

Here is a link to my ectopic story (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=47861)...

Best Wishes!
