I will be having my DH with me. I have other family that has had their mums etc with them but for me I feel it is a special time to be shared between my dh and myself.
I will see how it goes with the pain. If I do decide I want something for it I will have an epidural. I am not sure what this labor will be like. My first was induced and posterior, which everyone says is worse, so fingers crossed this one won't be as bad!! (Wishful thinking perhaps!! ;) )
my DH will be there as much as he can - and mum has agreed to come and go a bit (a friend recommended having two support people so that if one needs a break you still have a helper!!) ...
I'm hoping to use as few drugs as possible... but will have to see.. I will just ask for what I need... when I need it!!!

I am having my Dh and a friend as the 'other support person' so Dh can have a break when necessary. Not too sure about pain relief. Will play it by ear. Not saying I will, not saying I won't.

I'm having my DH with me. I couldn't think of anything worse than having my mother in there.
I was considering asking my best friend who is also my brothers partner if she wants to come in with me, but it's up to her, and would be for her to experience it more than for my benifet.
As for pain relief I think I could have gone without it last time, so if my labour is as fast I'll try not to have any. Depends if I have to be on my back again with monitors I might have to have an epi, or just be naughty and stand up.
