I am a recent convert to cloth and just received another parcel of BBH bamboo (love their softness) but have now realised that I need to look into covers more. Can you point me in the right direction for any funky covers for boys nappies? (I have GK pockets but for the BBH wanted some covers that look good IYKWIM and I am not a knitter so don't want to go there!)

Tot's bots are also another good PUL cover - but I don't think they are as fancy as the Bummis.

I've got a Bummis on the way too- I've been using Tots Bots but not that impressed- wicking on the leg binding and one has actually fallen apart after being used for only 2 months, nighttime only

Oh wow - my tot's bots is used in huge rotation of something like 12 covers which could be why mine is still in good condition.

I am on the same mission. Am looking for cute girly covers to go on top of the BBB.

I want a Berri Plush but I need to wait until my baby is big enough for the medium as she's too close to the limit for the small. They are gorgeous. So I am settling for one motherease rikki PUL (savannah) and one modern baby PUL (pink gingham) (both on order as we speak). I have one wool soaker and have just bought a BB wool wrap off ebay. I don't know if that's enough but I have a couple of hand me down Target PVC covers to use if needed.

Happy to see what suggestion others make!

I have to say I'm a little disappointed at the range of 'fancy' covers there are out there... maybe my taste is a little extravagent....

But I am surprised considering they range of pockets you can get, that there is a real lack of likewise covers...

Ah, there could be a whole world of OOAK custom embellished wool out there with your name on it, then.

When you say "fancy", what do you mean, exactly? Have you checked out Starbunz, Wacky Wraps, Momobutts, BerryPlush? Hung out on Ozebaby for Cauldron and other stockings? Often the higher-end products seem to lack range because they're snapped up as soon as they hit the market, and because they involve a LOT of work. WAHMs already work for slave wages, so small alterations to profit margins can make a big difference - they simply can't churn out large quantities of fancy intricate hand-embellished products.

If you're only looking at print PUL rather than other sorts of fancy covers, I would guess that there's probably a limited range because most print PULs are cotton PUL, and therefore tend to wick more than poly PULs and other cover options (wool/fleece), so they can be a bit less versatile.

I think thats a big part of the problem.... I'm working on a few unique ideas myself at the moment so:fingerscrossed:

I was just thinking the same thing the other day. I really want snap PUL covers, with cute prints, but can't find them... I don't really like the bummis prints TBH... the strawberry tots bots cover is cute though.

Waawa, that is a good point that you made. I should get a cute fleece cover.. but I don't know why, I just can't believe that they would work   but I use wool covers, so go figure with the logic on that one!!

Have a look at the Motherease 'Airflow' (not 'Rikki') covers - I was just checking them out before and they have snaps, great patterns and ventillation thinggos. One of them will be my next cover.. oops, I already ordred a Bummis!

The only PUL cover I really like is the aiflow but ours is only white - didn't realise you could get prints.

Could you dye it with your kool aid, Kym?
Apparently this was possible with the white bumGenius' (old style).
Although for you it sounds like it's wool all the way now

Hmm not sure but have heard you can colour the white bG.
kool aid works as a protein dye so with wool, hair etc.
 wool all the way.

Hey DragonFly Baby, I was wondering, do you know the full brand name of that butterfly nappy cover? I can't find it on google and I know I have seen the name before just can't remember it...

Cheers!
