Hi,
I am desperate for some advice on how to get my 1yr old to sleep through the night. He starts off in his cot, but withing a couple of hours he has already stirred for his dummy, or me. He still wakes for at least one bottle a night and if I leave him in his cot, I am up every hour - minimum. He is in bed with me, which I love except my husband is on the couch. Is there a way to break the habit without lots of tears - from both of us?
please help!

I got no clue either!! My DS is 13 months and since he's been 8 months we've pretty much been co-sleeping and now DH has been kicked out to sleep in the spare room. This is the only way we all get some sleep unfortunately. I wish there was another way myself, so would appreciate any suggestions too :D

Hi girls,

I dont know whether this will help but when I knew my bub was having enough food thru the day to sustain him thru the night, when he woke I gave him water. He eventually decided it was not worth waking for water. It may be more difficult with the age of your bubs, (mine was 5 months) and a few sleepless night but it cant hurt to give it a go as at that age it is generally habit not hunger.

Good luck
