I know they say in your second trimester you are ment to be full of energy and everything but for the last two days I've been so tired. It hasnt been hot and I havent been over doing it. I knew that maybe every now and then I might feel a little slow but not this much. Is anyone else feeling like they could sleep for most of the day?

I've been exhausted too, more so than the first trimester! I'm still waiting for second trimester changes to kick in, for example my skin has been breaking out since I got my :bfp: and hasn't cleared yet. Also my sex drive has disappeared for the first time in my married life:confused: still waiting...

Yeah I have to say that I am absolutely knackered! I just always feel so exhausted. Maybe its because I have a little one already and I work but I dont remember being this tired with my first.
It just seems to hard to get the energy to do anything. I have some bursts where I want to do stuff (usually in the morning) but as the day wears on all I want to do is lie down!
Well I guess its only going to get worse....imagine how we are going to feel around about March/April!

I agree, I am also soooo
I am so busy at the moment with DS, work etc, and I am preparing my house for Xmas guests....
I am getting at least 8 hours every night, but I wake up exhausted.
Sorry, no advice, just sympathy........ :hugs:

Its kinda funny really, as I'm so tired (and seems everyone else is) I'm doing less than what I used to to which I feel guilty about and lazy but really just to tired to care. All I can say is thank god for my husband he has been such a great help.

Yep I am so tired too.
Some days though I get an urge for an hour or so and end up cleaning something obscure!

I wish I was feeling better. I am still as tired as my first trimester. I am getting at least 10 hours sleep most nights (which is pretty normal even before I was pg) and still feel absolutely exhausted.
I think I could go for a nap right now in fact.

My m/s has pretty much stopped but some days it likes to come back and to annoy me. A lot of women are sick right through pregnancy and some lucky ones dont get it at all. Dont worry to much unless you are haveing trouble keeping food down (being sick three or more times a day) and bringing up water. Even then not much to worry about but should see your doctor they can give you meds to stop you being sick.

Are you guys taking a really good multi vitamin? I take Tresos B and Usana and I reckon that's one fo the main reasons I've got that little bit of extra energy. You can only get them from the naturopath and the Usana is pretty expensive at $80 for 3 months but I think it's worth it.

Hi Guys,
as soon as second tri kicked in i thought i should be feeling great. But i didn't and felt guilty saying i was tired. But my sis and stepmum (with 2 little ones) said it doesnt happen right away, that i may not feel fab until 20 weeks or something.
I feel better than first tri when just felt tired from morn till night, but now just get tired later in the day when i ve run around like a mad thing most of the morning.
And mum2bubba, i was hoping id be one of those ladies who WANTS sex during preg, but geez, im nearly 18 weeks now. First tri was just norm, but now feel so bad cause i dont seem interested. God i hope it comes back. being so take it or leave it is so BORING. i guess its normal and hormonal and just how i am during this pregnancy :)
But glad im not the only one who still feels tired and thinks they shouldn't  !!!!
