Howdy All!
I just thought I'd let you in on a little family getaway hubby and I have returned from.
Its called the Chiltern Lodge which is approx 3 hrs drive from North Sydney. (4.5 if you have a little ones like ours and need to make frequent stops!)
We came across the place just by chance last year when hubby was watching Ch Deal or No Deal and they had one of those travel auction things!
The place is great for a family getaway. Its approx 8 min from the beach, there are only 4 cabins so you dont have to worry about the place being over crowded!
We arrived and they had a porta cot set up, a baby monitor, high chair and a glass of wine and beer ready!
They have chickens so the little ones get plenty of joy chasing these around, a pool, a spa and a massive games room which has tv, dvd's videos. Pool table and table tennis.
Best of all the baby monitors work in the games room and near the spa so if the mum and dads want to have some time out whilst bub is asleep...YOU CAN!
Anyway....just thought I'd share our little secret...and just hope you dont book when we want to go again!
