I just wanted to post a postive experience for those of you who had an emergency ceaser with a bad recovery. I had an emergecy ceaser a few years ago with my first son and had a really really bad recovery.....really bad! I couldn't walk for days and was in agony for weeks and weeks, didnt get back to normal for months...
I was really nervous about having another ceaser and dreading the recovery. But this time round things have been fantastic!!! I had my elective ceaser on about 10 days ago and the whole experience has been TOTALLY different this time round. I am so relieved! I was up and walking the next day and things have been so much easier. After only 10 days I am at the stage of recovery that I was at after maybe 3 or 4 weeks last time. VERY HAPPY!
And the best thing is....I have a beautiful little boy so show for it......even though we were told to expect a girl!!! What a lovely surprise!!! But that is another story.....
