I didn't keep a photographic record of my last pregnancy, and I am determined to this time. I have to get DH to take my belly shot this weekend.

Hey Kirst, me too!!! I only got 2 pregy photos last time, one was taken at work on my last day there and the other was when I was in labour (ready to go to the hospital) and it was blury.

I think I've popped out a bit already!:confused:

I feel bigger too Len. But it could all be in my mind. They say that you put on weight quicker with your second, coz your body remembers what it's meant to do. Does that make sense?

I had a GF look about 15weeks pg at 9 weeks with her second.

I only have about 3 pics of me pregnant with my first so I am gonna get hubby to snap away as much as he likes with this pregnancy.

My DH says that my belly has already popped out a bit but I think it is just bloating. It got me excited though. I cant wait to have a big round belly!!

I hope to take more pics this time too!! Im natrually a fairly small person but when I was pg with DS I got HUGE!!! and I popped out early and now at 6 weeks pg Ive already popped!!

My jeans dont fit and my loose jeans are a perfect fit!! Damn I was hoping not to get quite so huge this time lol!! Oh well If me Putting on weight means a healthy bub then I can deal with it :D
Besides If I dont graze on food all day I feel sick.

I am the same. I am hungry all the time! Even when I get up in the middle of the night to pee (which I do alot - I cant believe I need to pee so much!) I feel hungry and want to duck out to the kitchen and eat something.

OMG!!!! A baby bump!!! How cute!

I would love to share mine, but my digi camera died yesterday (2 months old), and it won't be fixed for 4-6 weeks!!!!!! Bugger!

I've noticed that I've started putting on some weight around my middle but I think it's just some extra fat! :laughing: I can feel where my uterus is and it's lower that the belly fat!

When does the uterus move up and out of the pelvis I wonder?

We took photos nearly every month from about 3 months (i think) with DS and plan on doing the same this time...

I too feel like I am already showing and finding the bump hard to hide... Thank god I'm not back at work until Feb (I will be 3 months months then) and I can tell everyone and no thave to worry about hiding the bump...

Taylors_mum I thought I was feeling big for 5 weeks. I'm not quite as big as you but as you said I feel big also. You never know you may get a surprise at your u/s....haha. :laughing: Then again with the second you seem to pop out earlier than you did with the first. I didn't start showing till 10 weeks last time.

I'll post a belly pic maybe on the weekend. I'll have wait for DH to take one.
I think I'll be a bit more diligent with the belly record this time around. I only had one photographic record last time and that was at 34wks.

I didnt start showing with Taylor until around 10wks also.... i was just compairing photos of when i was pregnant with her and i wasnt this big until around the 12wk mark... so yeah i have to say you really do pop quicker with the second.

Hey Hollie, are you sure that there's only one in there????? But if you popped out at 10 weeks last time, it makes sense that you would pop out early this time.

Last time I was in my normal clothes until about 16 weeks. I don't imagine I'll look anything but fat until at least the end of January.

I popped early last time, bout 10 weeks similar size to that, nothing yet, well nothing firm!

I only have a couple more days of work then im on holidays... i dont go back till im 10wks so i will tell everyone at work when i get back from holidays.

We have only told a few close family members so far.

With my DS I still only had a tiny belly barely noticeable when I was 18 weeks, I remember going to a wedding and there was some old friends of ours there - they didnt even notice I was pregnant! This time I think I am gonna be really noticeably pregnant alot sooner.

if you pop early cause you are having bub #2 does that mean you will always be huge or do things even out?

I have a friend who is a mother of 2, and is in the best shape that I have EVER seen her in. Mind you, she makes sure that she exercises at least 3 times a week, whether it be gym, swim or a run.

I think that you just have to be committed to working out.....I'm in trouble then!

what i meant was, if you pop early, will you measure big for your dates.....like you measure 12 weeks but are only 10....does that happen right through to the end or do you eventually return to what you "should"

I don't think so. It's not that baby is big, it's just that your muscles are lax after your last pregnancy, so you show earlier.

Taylors Mum, my tummy is like yours!!! A bit bigger though!

Didn't take any pics of my last pregnancy as I don't like being pregnant - I am studying personal trainer so yes, I am a fitness head and had a PHOBIA about being fat!! Even with child!

I might take a pic this time round, first thing in the morning. Cause food does make it bigger!

Apparently all the 2nd time mum's that I have spoken too said that you pack it fast this time, but it does slow down to normal rates later. Phew!!

This was taken at 5wks 5days, so only 2 days ago. I was this big at 12 weeks last time, so I do feel quite like a frump at the moment. :laughing:

Shorty_851 don't feel awful about having a baby bump so early. Just remember, everyone is different and pregnancy is suppose to be a beautiful and exciting time. Obviously your hormones have kicked in a little earlier and are preparing your body for what is about to happen. Enjoy the next 8 months.

I look no different. I didn't really pop until 21 weeks with DD and worked hard at getting my ab's back so hopefully I'll be the same this time round!

And happy new year!! I have been away on holidays and only back at work this week - and it's been manic!!!

I am now 9 weeks and am feeling SOOOO bloated all of the time. Haven't had any m/s though - unless feeling bloated and full counts??

My tummy looks pregnant, but only because of the bloatedness and not because of baby!!

Oh well, am sure the real baby bump with start to show sooner or later.

Anyone else feeling really bloated?? Sort of like you've just eaten a huge meal...except you haven't.

As bub is only about 1.6cm and the bloating I am feeling - I think it's mostly gas :o

I was going to do the same thing except I didn't have anything high enough to put it on! We are moving house soon so our bedroom contains 1 bed and 1 dresser and a digital clock :laughing: Plus DD wants to take all the pics now in our house. She answers the phone too. What a great idea to get this thread up and running again! Your bellies are just beautiful! It's funny that I feel and think I look quite big in the mirror but when I look at photos I look a lot smaller?? If you know what I mean! MammyMammy - you need to go to www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) and set up an account.
Then set up a folder (I've set up separate ones for Bub, Wedding, Holidays, House, etc). Then there is a box where you can upload photos - click on "browse" (I think), find your photo and click upload. It's a bit slow, but quickens if the images aren't too large. Good luck and just PM me if you have any questions !

Deb - hope you got the whole photobucket thing working for you. I don't remember them asking lots of questions but i did sign up a while ago maybe they changed it? I haven't had a problem with them though and once you get the hang of it its easy! :)
