As some of you may know, *Chrissy* is pregnant with my little niece. Only it turns out, my niece is actually going to be a nephew!
At about 39 weeks now, she's only JUST discovered that her little "girl" actually has "boy bits"...so is therefore no longer a daughter but a son!
It's exciting in a way, because I've already got a daughter (so it'll be cool to buy boy things for a change!)... but also a bit disappointing because it means I've got to buy some boy things, and just keep a bunch of newborn GIRL things I was planning on giving her! :laughing:
Just to make things clear - this isn't a BIRTH annoucement... the baby is yet to make his debut...
Just thought it was amusing... we almost had a "seekrit moment" and ended up with an extra appendage at birth! :D
I had the same thing happen to me with DS2, we found out before he entered the world though and with enough time to exchange all the pink things for blue things!

Yep, she sent me an SMS saying that he seems healthy.
According the a U/S though, he's only gonna be REALLY TINY - he's measuring 4lbs 3oz... but that's according to an U/S. I guess I can go get some itsy bitsy outfits for him...size 00000 instead of hte 000 in girls clothes i had! :laughing:

:laughing: Oh Wow!! I always worried when I was pregnant if I was going to have a boy instead of a girl like I was told. I think it was actually Seekrit's story that had me panicking :laughing:
Well a healthy baby is all that matters, congrats to you & ur sister on the up coming nephew/son! :thumbsup:
Oh :banghead: I had the biggest box of girl things all boxed up & ready to send!!! I had boy stuff but gave it all away.
She had her doubts & I guess her instinct was right:yes:

Oh wow, what a surprise!!! That was my fear throughout the pregnancy, when DD was finally born I told DF to quick check that its a girl! :laughing: Glad everything is well with the bubs though, sounds like his is going to be tinie tiny.

Sorry Chrissy - I didn't know that it was meant to be secretive? I told Brendon though, just through conversation - I thought he already would have known but he said he had no idea. Sorry if I'm just going around telling everyone stuff you don't want everyone to know...
(I would have left it up to you, but you said you'd been having BH troubles so I didn't know how long it would take until you came on and said it...and I just NEEDED to tell someone who cared!).

:wave: Well miss Chrissy i was only thinking about you this morning and thinking, i bet she has a boy lol how strange is that...
We said we thought it was very possible didnt we, at least you know he is happy and healthy thats what counts...
Hope your in labour today and that little man comes today specially after making you think you were having a girl hehe and being a boy...
Oh btw im due jan 25th now not feb 5th so an bub is engaged apparently so hopefully i wont be too far behind you...
