When do you put presents under the tree

I know of some people (mainly with older kids) who will put all the presents under the tree days, or even weeks before christmas.. do you do this too? Do you trust your kids to leave them alone and not unwrap them.. or is it just asking for them to touch them.

Usually, we put some under the tree a week before Christmas and the rest under there on Christmas eve before we go to bed.
But this year, with a 2yr old in the house..........aint gunna happen, lol. They'll all go there on Christmas Eve.

I don't think i can put a tree up this year. My ds is 11 months and extremely curious and on the go. The tree would be pulled down and any presents would be unwrappes and eaten I'm sure. Can't wait til he's old enough to understand though.
I think when he is we'll put a few under a couple of weeks before but bring the rest out in the morning so coming from Santa

We put all presents under the tree as we get them, with the exception of pressies from Santa, they get put out Christmas night.

We put our tree in the playpen & the boys decided it wasn't decorated until there were some presents under the tree! So we have had some gifts under the tree since we put it up!

This year we will have to put them out after DS is in bed on christmas eve.

I left one present out by mistake and it got ripped into straight away.

We have put them out this year, and my boys have been really good about not touching them, they prefer to try and pull all the decorations off the tree instead!

The santa ones obviously go out the xmas eve when they are tucked up in bed

i put most of mine under the tree about a week or so before christmas.

i love seeing the kids dying with curiosity :laughing:
the excitment i get more time out of instead of just one morning of it on xmas.

they usually beg and plead to open them or a least a heap of hints.

this year i have indy (12months old) so im not sure how long they would stay in tact for :confused:

Our pressies go under the tree when it goes up so December 1. Pressies from santa go under christmas eve. Mind you its hard enough keeping DD away from the stuff now so when she is older things may change.:laughing: :rolleyes:
