Parking at Royal Brisbane Hospital

Hi there, Does anyone know of on street parking around the hospital that is free. We have just started antenantal classes and got a little shock when collecting the car having to shell out $15. Only new to Brisbane and due in 6 weeks. :p :p

you can park on the street but from memory it is only 2 hour parking - my classes were at night time so no time limit on the street - i risked it once when i had a drs appt but one of the other mums in there said she had gotten a parking ticket - there is more parking a few blocks from the hospital but in this heat it would be very warm!

My eldest DSS's mother is a nurse at the Royal - and she always knows where the best parks and what not are... I'll have a chat to her tonight and ill definately get back to you - she works there 7 days a week and at the time of the ekka - she knew where the good cheap parking was :p
