To those who give their babies Mylanta do you do it before or after they eat or just when they look like they are in pain? The doctor said to give my bubs a little bit of Mylanta for reflux but I forgot to ask when.

We used to give our son Zantac & would do it in the middle of the feed - so the taste would be washed down with milk... maybe do the same thing?

My son's paed just put him on Mylanta this week for mild reflux and he said to give him 1-2mls before his feed. Hope that helps.

My doctor recommend us to give our baby 2ml Mylanta 3 times a day before feeds. He is a bit more settled now that we have changed his formula and have started giving him Mylanta:smiliedance:
