OK I bought these thinking how cool everyone uses these they must be good lol $20 later I am annoyed :D
First test "Not pregnant"
2nd test "see leaflet"
Aghhh bugery **** I read the instructions and it said put the test back in if taken out to soon but I didn't take it out too soon after the 3 minutes it said that. Grrrrr I put it back in anyway but of course it went all funny and said "see leaflet"
I went to the chemist but they don't have just the tests on their own, does this mean I have to buy the whole thing again, you can just buy the tests?
I am to tired to go out again today I know it picks up LH hormones as well which is kinda cool in a way as I had two lines on both tests :D so at least I know I am either up the duff or about to O!
I think I will go back to the old fashioned ones.
your opinions on digital tests V old fashioned ones puhlease :D

No you will have to buy another set of tests because the cartridges that come with that box are the only ones you can use in that tester.
But they are just the same as a normal stick you wee on because the words only last an hour and then go away but you still have your result on a stick to show off.
So you can look at the stick to know your result.

I like the old tests,:thumbsup: someone was saying in another thread that with the new digital one's the result only stays on the screen for about an hour after,:thumbsdown: so I think they are a waist of money really.
But that's just my opinion ! ! !
Go and buy another test though, I want to know if it is a :bfp: for you. I have my :fingerscrossed: for you.

Yes shorty but you can't rely on the results on the stick because it shows two lines even when you aren't pregnant (shows up LH aswell), so you really need to be able to read the results on the screen.
What a rip off that the second one didn't work, I would ring the company and see if you can get a replacement or a refund, they are expensive so it is worth complaining.
I had a "not pregant" on the first at 10DPO and then a "pregnant" at 12DPO with mine.
It is kind crappy that you can't just buy refills for them too, seems stupid that you have to buy a whole new set.
I guess in time they will become cheaper and more refills willl become available!

Ive never used the digital one so i cant help you there but i personally think that the old fashioned ones are much better. They do the same thing and are a lot cheaper!! :yes:
yeah I think I should complain I am such a tidy freak though and have already thrown them away lol might ring them anyway!

In my opinion i think they made them that way so you spend a fortune. You think about how much money these HPT's companies make a yr. They take advantage of women that are TTC. We all go crazy testing and buying about a million tests even when it says pg we still want to confirm it. So they make them like that to make more money. :yes:

personally i prefer the ancient method of swelling and giving birth....never wrong:D ...but peeing on a stick is fun too...ive never used a digital one:D
Yeah I was thinking perhaps I should just wait lol see what happens but I do enjoy a beer now and again and don't drink when pregnant so I NEED to know lol

hi,
i LOVED the digital test, was so cool seeing pregnant come up and i thought it was well worth it (even after i'd had lines come up on other ones). yes it does disappear after a while, but i got a photo to keep forever.

The result stayed for about 12 hours on mine - I really liked the digital test, but I already knew I had a BFP, as I had used a normal test and got a feint line, I just kind of wanted to see it in writing "pregnant" IYKWIM

No I haven't lol I won some preggy tests off ebay so I am waiting for those to come sick of shedding out $15-20 every time I think I am preggy.
I might tests today was feeling very :barf: this morning, probably nothing I still think it's a :bfn: I am just stressed a bit presently with the move and stuff!
will let you know when I test :D

Nope not preggy, so those lines must of been a LH surge, Never buying those digital tests again rip off!!!
Um we're going in 5 weeks and yes I will still chat, probably not as much though :D
