Postage limits

Is it a 2kg limit for postage to Afghanistan?? Thanks in advance, was going to get some boxes in advance for when my DP deploys.

Up to 2kgs is free - once it goes over 2kgs you pay for everything (you dont get the first 2kgs free, if that makes sense). If it is over 500grams you need to fill in a customs form & have your i.d sighted by Aust post staff - if its under 500grams you can pop it straight in the mail box.

BM boxes are the best although they will accept any boxes. I'm finding at the moment, mail is taking anywhere from 2 - 4 weeks.
