Morning Ladies!

Well i had a shocka of an afternoon/night last night. Felt sick all afternoon so i forced myself to have a large serve of lasgne thinking it would make me feel better, then 10 minutes later threw it all up... DISCUSTING!

DS was so cute though he kept saying "mummy eeling ick, poor poor mummy" I couldn't help but smile.

So far feeling good today so thinking we might venture out to toys r us today and spoil the kids a little bit, the have been so good considering we have been at home a lot more lately, they must be so bored some days! (Also I heard toys r us have 50% off bubba blue sheet sets  )

Have Dr appt this afternoon when i get my baby films too, so i'll see if i can scan them in??

Started going through my baby names book yesterday, writing down the names i liked, it's gonna be real tough this time!

Wish my bb's would grow more, they have a bit, but nothing too special, still a b-c cup i guess.

Hope your all well, and have a good day :hugs:

Oh i know what you mean now that you have more babies, the Drs expect you to rember everything!

I still have questions, i still want tests, i still need reassurance, c'mon it's not so hard!

DF has decided that he's so practiced by now that he would like to deliver this baby, or at least help the midwife "catch it", then he can tell me what it is, he's very excited! I'm sure our midwife will be fine with it too!

Hey Mumma Jessy- sorry to hear your not feeling the best. I remember like yesterday feeling like that with Bailey. This morning I had the slightest bit of nausea but it seems to have passed thank goodness! Glad your a bit better today though. Your kids sound wonderful!

Steph- OMG How could you possibly be an E cup!!! In your pic you have a nice petite figure, it must be painful for you carrying around E cup b00bs!

I feel a bit strange today, still constipated:thumbsdown: and feeling so anxious. I feel kinda scared. Just counted the calendar and its 6 weeks til i see Dr again and it was a week since I last saw him. I am still having a bit of cramping but I think its fine. I guess Im just nervous that something bad comes up on the scan and I havent seen the Dr since I was 6 weeks. I just want reassurance that all is ok but I feel like an idiot walking in and he says What can I do for you today Leanne? I say well nothing really, just need reassuring that all is ok:o  Oh well I guess Ill just hold out and see.

Hun, if you're that anxious, go see another Dr and ask for a referral for a scan. You can even ask this of your usual GP, he has to give you a referral if you insist. Don't let Drs control your pregnancy, do what you think feels right. That way, you can relax and enjoy it more! When I do the bloods that go with the NT scan, I'm also going to ask my Obs to throw in hcg, prog to be tested too, as I m/c at 13 weeks last time, and will feel really nervous once I reach that point, hah instead of relaxing because I've passed the 3 month mark!

Steph.........you poor thing.....E cup boosies. I went up from a C-cup to E by the time I started B/F DD!

Hope everyone is okay besides the usual nigglies! Just a few more weeks and it will alllll be gone and we can look forward to starting to "show"

Hi girls,

Steph, hun oh yes welcome E cups! EEEEK! I am usually a 12c, mmmmm well havnt things changed in the past fortnight, I have to squeeze into my biggest c cup and I am still popping out everywhere  , guessing i am either a full d, or small E right now (once again  ) will have to be properly fitted this weekend, dp thinks all his christmases have come at one  ..... (soweee hun these are not for you)

Leanne: sweetie I am anxious too, thats why I have booked in to get an 8 week scan (next thursday) so that I can stop worrying! I cramp ALOT, but apparently its very normal, your uterus is stretching and theres lots of other wierd and wonderful stuff happening down there! Get an 8 week scan if you are really nervous, then you will see everything is fine!

It gets worse the more babies you have, trust me. Last pregnancy after confirmation by BT. my doc didn't see me until 16 weeks I was so worried. No matter how many bubbas you have, you are still worried and still have questions.

I wonder what I am in for this time. She'll probably make me deliver it myself!!

OMG! I know! I was just thinking the same thing!
But what everyone said is right, just because it's my 4th, doesn't mean I know it all or I'm not as worried about this one. Every pregnancy is different, even if the difference is only minor and I still have questions, concerns, fears about this one too.

My first two we had the same OB then for #3 we switched because everyone raved about this woman OB plus when we booked her offices were in the city so DH could come to more appointments but the week before our first appointment she moved within 2 mins of my old OB anyway! By about 20 weeks I wanted to go back to my old OB (she wasn't all that) but never made the move so this time we're going back to our old OB and I have to explain where #3 came from!

The one noticable difference in this pregnancy so far is that my boobs weren't sore at all, but they were with the 3 girls. I've racked my brain and I thought that was strange as I was waiting for sore boobs to tell me I was pregnant!

Back again ladies, hope you are all keeping cool, it's HOT here today!

Went shopping with the kids but i shouldn't have fet like i was gonna faint most of the time, so we went home.

Got my scan pics back, they are in the other thread! Dr also gave me a script for maxalon, if i want to take it. I know it's safe, but i'll see how i go without it first.

Right off for a nap i think! Hope you are all well today!

Dig em out babe, and we can be wearing E size tent bras together, they looook gigantic, but they still fit normally :o

I booked in for Antenatal classes and a breast feeding class today!!
Antenatal isnt until May and we are doing the full day Saturday class.
And then the BF one is in May.
On one hand it feels like forever away, and the next it feels like its right here.

HUbby was planning on telling his dad this arvo about the pregnancy, however he had to change plans and is coming around tomorrow instead....... Glad i wont be here... i dont know why, but i feel funny telling him

Sorry for the me me me post :o it annoys the hell out of me when others do it and dont respond to anyone else and here i am doing it myself :shame:

Tell me about these early scans... :detective:

I asked about them with DS and I was told they weren't necessary - so me not knowing any different said OK... and that was it. THIS TIME I WANT ONE!!!

Are you all going to private OBs to get these done?
Would it make a difference because I am going public?
What creative excuses can you use?
I are early scans internal?

Yes... another me me me post!!

mumma_jessy
05-12-2006, 21:01
Me posts - sorry i tend to do that :o , i guess i fugure not everyone needs to be answered 10 times.

Deevine - Yep May feels like a long time, but it will arrive before we all know it! Great idea doing b/feeding classes, wish i'd have done them the first time!

Len - Most people only have early scans if there could be a mix up with dates, or if you are having cramping or something and they think you may have a eptopic pregnancy.

Are you all going to private OBs to get these done? Nup, just my gp reffered me to mine

Would it make a difference because I am going public? Absolutely not! You may have to pay a gap, but i guess it depends who is looking after you.

What creative excuses can you use? Even just slight cramping and my Dr wanted to send me for an ultrasound, to look for eptopic pregnancy, or just tell the truth, say your worried and you'd really love to see your baby for peace of mind.

I are early scans internal? Depends how early i think, i have never had to have an internal, also depends if you actually drink all the water you are supposed to!

Goodluck! :hugs:

Yes... another me me me post!!

Yep i go to a private OB, but he was also my Fertility Specialist.
I had one a 6.5 weeks, having another at 9.5 and another at 12!

I think you can ask to go for an early scan if you are going public, you might just have to pay.
No difference to private. I still have to pay.

Creative excuse.... hmm maybe tell the Doc you are having cramping or have had some spotting, or dont remeber your last Af??

yep my early scan was internal and i tell ya you still couldnt see much at all.
So it would only be worse with external i imagine.

HTH!!! x

Hi Ladies

Sitting here wishing I was asleep, but I should be getting clothes ready for today. Another busy day ahead, - I think I will be falling asleep on the lounge again tonight. Not much news here, still feeling a bit nauseous every now and then, and usually a small snack will help that.

Nikki: its wonderful when you can rest and the kids play quietly, DS1 was wonderful when I was pregnant with DS2. This time though they both always like mummy's attention, well most of the time. It is hard waiting for the next scan. When is your next one?

Len: I have had my early scans due to my cycles being all over the place so I had the early scans to help get my due date right. With my first two, I went through a public birth center and didn't have to pay for any of my ultrasounds. This time I am going to another public birth center, but the first two scans are referred from my GP and I have had to pay for them.

D...you are a organise girl - wish I could be like that. DH and I only went to one prenatal class :D - we made it for Thursday nights, and were always too tired to go - oh well the boys have turn out ok - I think :p. I do recommend them, they make things easier when bub comes.

Mumma_jessy: don't exhaust your self out too much in this hot weather. Have lots of nanna naps if you can. And I loved your pic!!

Ok, that is it for now, I am sorry for those I have missed. Will catch up soon. Hope everyone has a good day, I better get going and get these boys orgnised :D

And then there's the girls listed who are unsure of their due dates yet too! Can any mods give us and idea if this is a new record??!!

Well it looks like I won't be continuing with you guys here in the July thread. First scan today to check dates shows that i'm not even 5 weeks. They couldn't see anything in uterus which he says is normal for this early in pregnancy. So looks like I will be August.

Good luck to you all for the rest of your pregnancy.

Hi girls,

Sorry i have been a little slack in reading and replying to all posts.

I was dealing with my breastfeeding issues for a month now. At first i thought that i can deal with it alone but i think that i need some help.

For the past one month, i am finding feeding Ria very painful. My nipples are tender and i feel like crying everytime i feed her. I don't know what to do because i still want to feed her. I have tried different positions but none seems to help. I don't know what to do.

Anyone else riding in the same boat.:detective:

So sorry for the me me me post.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

hi priya

i too am breast feeding ds. my nipples, especially the one on the right has beem so tender. no positions make it better. the only thing that seems to help is making sure he gets a full moutfull.. you know like you always tried to get when they are new born?? thats what i try for when he feeds, and make sure he lets go before he pulls off the boob as hes been keeping fold and pulling a bit when he latches off iykwim. sorry i have no more advie.. but it is meant to get better.. i thgink by 20 weeks it should have stopped if not sooner....:fingerscrossed:

Try not to worry too much hon, I've noticed that I have a LOT more CM with this pregnancy than any of my others and it's thickish and creamy looking (TMI). It's not uncomfortable and doesn't have an odour, I'm sure that's normal & I just wear liners.

Baileys Mum u can have as much of the E-cups as u want! Im sitting here bra-less because my shoulders r sore from carrying them around all day!

Girls, Girls, GIRLS! I too end up in an E cup and I promise you that a day with these mummas and you won't be wishing for them for much longer! Here, have half of mine! Steph, I know how you feel. Although last pregnancy I found that I fit very very comfortably into the Elle Mcpherson maternity bras and I'm serious when I say that I don't even feel like I'm wearing one! The fabric is so soft, supportive and seamless so you can wear it with nearly everything.
Check 'em out.
Maternelle Bra (http://www.zodee.com.au/womens/elle-macpherson-intimates/maternelle/e71-135/)
Also, this site has them the cheapest I've ever seen!
I'm going to stock up before this baby comes!
I'm a size 16-18 usually but I'm wearing a 14DD very well at the moment.

Oh and a HUGE good luck for your scan tomorrow, i bet youll be so excited to see your darling little gummy bear, cant wait to see pics!

Niki- we had a set boys name last time and we had a boy and this time we have a girls name so does that mean we have a girl?... I hope so:fingerscrossed: Although I will be happy either way, as long as bub is healthy. Its funny how you have a feeling though. Are you gonna find out the sexes? Hi all
I havent been on for weeks as I have been really really sick.. I am having an alright day but it seems I might have had bad gastro as well and thought it was m/s..

I had my US last week and it didn't really go the best,. The babies heart beat is beating but there was another situation which when we went to DOCS I was told it could be very bad and I have to have another US next week. I can't get in until Wednesday.

I want to tell you all but I can't as my Sticky nose SIL reads everything I put on here and its personal and they will then ring people they know that are midwives and nurses and find out about it before I even know what is going to happen.. Right now its personal and I want to make sure what could be wrong is wrong before they air my business.. I have cried alot today and havent posted due to the fact that I can't really tell you on here..

If you want to know I will PM...

On a happier noticed LEN is preggars, I am soooo HAPPY FOR YOU!! When are you due??

Also I can't wait until chrissy, I have got all laybys picked up but boy have I had stuff ups!!! I am wrapped as everything is done...

Well I am off to my nieces disco!!
Have a good night

Hi July mums

hope you are all travelling well.
Anglebaby I hope things are all ok for you.

I had a scare yesterday with a bleed and some clotting - had a first time mother freakout and spent 6 hours in emergency to finally have a scan and saw my littlte blob with heart flickering. Big relief. Feel a bit silly now as I know bleeding is common but just had to know things were ok. Was 7 weeks on wed.

Was shattered and slept 12 hours last night - so feeling better although had my first dry wretch over the toilet bowl :barf: - but it was funnily reassuring!

Okay hope you all have good day and those who are in the heat - head to the pool!

Hi there,

Just feeling like poop today...my nausea is on and off all day everyday pretty much, makes me tired and little bit emotional (well that's the hormones)....just teary here and there, silly really.

Just having 'one of those days'....tummy is rounding up already, most of my clothes are getting too tight so I am pretty down about it since I am only almost 8 weeks. I only really have 3 shirts that look any good to wear and two pair of 3/4 pants.

Angelbaby8, I send your baby well wishes and big big hugs for you....good luck with it all, hang in there.

I don't feel like posting a huge one today, will let you others have a say instead.

Just needed to vent, thanks for listening.

Have a great day.

Same here, all this baby seems to want is take away!!

Cmd's-mum - yay for seeing your little bean! Its so exciting seeing it, you kinda end up wishing you could do what Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes did an buy an ultrasound machine! But that is a little extreme!
Glad to hear it all went well!

Cmd's-mum, congratulations on seeing your little one, I am so pleased for you.

And you also Kiwimay, glad it all went so well for you...how happy you must be.

Better go, just ate soup and crackers to try and fill my always hungry tummy and need to rest up for a bit before DS wakes.

Take Away, yes...me too, I crave McDonalds Cheeseburgers, always do when I feel sicky, but never ever usually like McDonalds, weird.

Hi girls!

Good to hear some of the m/s is fading away. Ive also been feeling a little better. No :barf: but still feeling nauseous in the mornings or if I eat diary (like cheese or chocolate!)

Niki- r u excited about ur wedding? We had to postpone ours :crying: It was meant to be in June so not so good. We've decided March 08 would be a good time. Ive actually already ordered my dress so hopefully when bubs is 8months it'll still fit! It also laces up which gives the extra room!

Cheminico- thanx for the link to the bras! I actually had the other Elle McPherson one but found it a little lacey for my liking! I found the Bendon one really comfy too..........while pregnant I find it comfiest (when at home) to wear a bonds singlet with the built in support. I'll avoid wearing a bra at all costs!

Boymum- I craved Maccas cheeseburgers with DS! I'd always tell DF I hadn't eaten yet (even if I had) so he'd go and get me one!!

Hi everyone

Just wanted to pop in for a quick hello, I have been reading posts, just been lazy with replies :o. Really tired at the moment, had a bad night sleep last night then took DS1 to see the Wiggles today. It was great - even though at the end he started to cry - but we are all exhausted .

Will try to catch up with the posts tomorrow. Hope everyone is well, and resting lots.

Hi everyone

I seem to be hungry all the time. Yesterday I ate a whole big bag of corn chips AND a jar of salsa. I didn't share it with anyone else. I haven't done that since my last pregnancy!!

Anyway, is anyone doing the right thing and eating well..?? Got any suggestions on things that are healthy and filling? Besides boring carrot sticks etc..

Hi Guys! Can't believe how many babies are due in July!!! It is so great to hear about everyones' journey towards motherhood!!! I am glad to hear that a lot of the m/s is slowly fading into memories, for those who are still sick - bring on 2nd trimester!!!

This pregnancy has been nothing like my last!!! I haven't had sore or swollen bbs, I have hardly been sick (a little nausea, but fades really quickly) and only some light headedness. Until today I haven't had that need to go to bed really early exhaustion. I am still up late, but have difficulty dragging myself out of bed for work in the morning!! I have even had moments where I doubted that I was actually pregnant!!! However, my trips to the ladies' room at work is definitely increasing

I had my first lot of bloods done this morning. The nurse collapsed my first vein, and so had to start again! Yay! That happened when I was in labour with Kelsie too. I felt really weird after my bt. I felt exhausted, like the past few weeks have caught up in one foul swoop. I went to bed when I put Kelsie down for a nap at 2pm, and didn't get out of bed until 7pm. Other then to get Kelsie up and palm her off to her Father.

I can't wait for my next u/s on the 18th. Hopefully will see my littlie is safe and well. I am actually quite anxious to see that all is well since I feel far from pregnant still - it will make it feel real!

Is anyone else not really feeling pregnant???

jkat - wiggles hey, how exciting, DS wuold have loved to go but was sold out here! Hope you get some rest and feel better soon

I am very excited, i just bought a doppler off e-bay! I never had one with my others but i thought this time i would splurge (even though it says i won't be able to hear anything till 12 weeks)

Hi everyone

Well feeling a bit more awake then yesterday, although I had a terrible night. Woke up about 2am with sharp pains in the tummy, that would come and go like contractions scared me!! Had a awful headache which made me want to be sick. No pains today, but the headache comes and go, and am still tired even though I had a 2 hr nap today. Going to the doctors either Monday or Tuesday just to have a chat. Not sure if there is anything he can do.

Mumma_jessy: go and get some sleep!!!!!! This is the perfect time to get sleep. ok mother hen hat off now: hope you are feeling better tomorrow. Wished you lived in near me, I would come and borrow your doppler:D

Shellbubs - Make sure you say goodbye before you go on holidays, it has been awhile since we chatted. If we don't get a chance to catch up - enjoy :smiliedance:

Nikki - so exciting about the dress, hope all goes well. Good to hear about your energy coming back, got any to spare :D

Ondine - this pregnancy is different compare to my other two, hoping that means its a girl lol. I feel pregnant when I feel sick.

Len - there are times I don't seem to stop eating, then I feel sick.

My4True Angels: I had a scan at 6 wks 3 days and they had to do an internal, but they got reading of the heart which was good. Next one is in two weeks.

Well fingers crossed a good night sleep, and no more pain. Really shock me up this morning. Hope everyone else is well.

I think Im ok now, once xmas is over it will only be like 3 weeks til my scan so im gonna sit tight.

As for #2s! Lucky you! I wish that was me going more often:laughing: I could count on my hands how many times I went when preg with bailey, it was so bad I ended up on hospital:eek:

Hi everyone,

I am due on 3 July 2007, I am 11 weeks today! I had a miscarriage in August when I was 8-9 weeks. We left it a month and then fell pregnant in October - which was great. I am soooooooooooooooo incredibly anxious though, I know you never stop worrying, but I just want to get to 3 months and enjoy it. I've had a 8 week scan and that was perfect, and am booked in for my 12 week scan next Tuesday. :fingerscrossed:

I wanted to know if any of you ladies have a moucsy discharge - it is kind of clear, I seem to have it everyday (leaves a mark in my undies - sorry for the detail) and have had it for a while?

Looking forward to sharing the experience with you all!

 ccfirstime & welcome! You are very close to my dates I am 11 wks 2 days today! I know what you mean (feeling anxious) I also had a m/c in July so I find it incredibly hard not to worry about everything that does or doesn't happen with my pregnancy.

Yay you will get to see your little bub again on Tuesday! Make sure you drop in and let us know that it all went well won't you.

Oh and as for your question about mucusy discharge - as fas as I know it is quite normal to have a clear/white/cloudy coloured discharge through out pregnancy....I have definately had an increased amount since being preggo and it is actually quite watery (sorry if TMI too early in the morning everyone) one of my girlfriends who is only a week ahead of me has had the same...but....as they say...if in doubt see your doc.

Mandi - I am so sorry for your loss. Sending you lots of love, strength and support :hugs:

I am getting nervous because I do not feel pregnant - no m/s or anything. Completely off all caffeine products and only eating fruit, veg and organic stuff.

have an ultrasound tomorrow (6 weeks) as my GP wants to rule out an eptopic (some pain on left side). I am quite nervous about this :(
I too have started to have CM - kind of thickish though and white (jeepers - we can only discuss this here, can't we !?!?!)

I am leaning more towards elective c/s so i will probably be having bub last week of July. Have Ob appointment 28 Dec so will discuss further then. Both DH and myself were big bubs and I am only small so I am terrified of VB !!

Hope everyone else is well.

How is everyone today?

I have very sore throat, achy body and the usual morning sickness feelings all day on and off. Bit rough today really, ah well, DS is keeping me going.

We also went to the Wiggles yesterday, it was great...DS seemed to enjoy himself...he slept through the whole night last night after going to bed at 5.15 he,he.

Have a lovely evening.

Ive actually been getting HORRIBLE pains in my stomach almost like period pain. Im not sure if something I eat causes them but I had them about 2weeks ago then again today. They have my doubled over for a min then I need to "go to the toilet" urgently. Not sure what it is but I had them previous to having an ultrasound n everything showed up fine on that.
Has anyone else had pains like this?

Hun, eeerrmmmm I get these too.........then need to go toilet :o then all is fine! So you're not alone!:hugs:

Trust me, you'd know if something was wrong. Stomach pains don't worry me much as I've had a m/c and can differentiate the diff types of pain. Don't worry about the discharge (unless of course it has a weird smell or is tinged with blood), as its caused by the high level of progesterone your body is making. I had it heaps whilst pg with DD and get it quite abit now too.

DramaQueen excellent news and wonderful pic:smiliedance:

Niesl_bug: when is your ultrasound?? Hope everything goes well.

Constipation here as well. Although its not as bad as it was with my other two pregnancies, although its early days yet.

Very tired here, will have moments of energy, then just feel really drained. Right now I should be asleep when the boys are but I felt sick instead so had my chips and drinks - usually helps. Might try to get some sleep before they wake up

Chat soon.

 Hi guys!!
Sorry I have been so absent the past week.
I have been here but sorta floating as I am sooooooooooooooooo frickin tired that I can barely be bothered typing.
I have no m/s other than queaziness but this tiredness is overwhelming, I cant get the motivation to do anything other than sit here or sleep.
Will be glad to get to the second trimester and see my energy levels pic up again, a little bump to emerge, and get to see my bub on a scan so I can atually feel really pregnant. At the moment it is pretty boring!!

DQ - I was just reading your diary and saw your scan piccy how cute, must be nice to see just one bubby in there huh??
Strange how your doc thought you lucky to have not had any misscarriages though, I didn't think it was a pre requisite for every woman to have one in her lifetime?!?!

Shorty - I have been following your story and I am holding out hope for you that you still may be pregnant, hopefully a scan in a couple of weeks will show up a little bubba with a nice strong heartbeat :fingerscrossed:

Well I hope everyone else is doing ok, not too sick or tired.
Will post again soon am off for a snooze whilst Xavier is in bed!

Hi Gals

Firstly, thank you everyone for your support and warm wishes!
I just returned from u/s (had an internal scan also) and all is good  YAY! bub is definitely in the uterus, it was too early to see him (?) but we could see the sac and she said everything looked exactly how it should. I am going again in 2 weeks which will be the 8 week mark for me.

Still no m/s symptoms - but I did sleep for 10 hours last night!

Thank you again for your kind words - you gals rock!!!

I hope everyone is doing well :)

Looks like we have all hit the wall together in the exhusted sence! I am so totaklly drained, you should see my house, what a mess! Only 2 more weeks and hopefully my energy levels will start to rise a bit more.

m/s seems to be getting better though :fingerscrossed: I haven't needed a tablet today so far, usually it hits inthe afternoon though.

DQ - what a cute little seahorse you have there, and only 1!

boymum - hope that soon you and your boy are feeling a bit better hun

n_b - glad to hear all is well!

Well i'm off to finish this hot dog then cathcing up with the mums from my (not so) new mums group, we first met when our firsts were 3 months and under. Now they are almost 3 and we all have seconds too.

For you new mums i highly reccomend the groups first run by the child and youth health centres, it has been great to experience the ups and downs with them, anyway enough :ecomcity:

Hope you all have a good day!

Well well well what can i say...i have made absolute best friends with the toilet, food is my enemy and i think im gonna die:gloomy:

m/s has hit with a vengeance and Im struggling terribly. Im sure its another boy coz I was like this last time with Bailey.

Bailey has been so good but its so hard trying to care for him when Im spending my days over the toilet bowl or on the lounge resting. My mum has been a godsend and poor DH is in sydney for work so he calls a few times a day to see how I am.

Please someone make me better:crying:

Morning ladies!

Baileys mummy & wannabemum - have you been to the Dr hun? they will probably give you some maxalon if you go, it doesn't stop you feeling queezy so much, but it stops you throwing up and makes you able to eat, and look after your other baby better? It has been a god send for me (and i'm usually against taking drugs!)

wannabemum - you got some great pics there of your cashew! :yelclap:

DD has her molers coming through i think, she is whingey all day and awake a lot at night, i am SO tired!

Hiya Ladies,

Just wanted to pop back in and say  . Been off for a while du to my "loving" MIL, she read my pregnancy diary on here and was not impressed with what I wrote about her. I thought it would be the one place that I could express my feeling without her knowing - but how wrong I was! So my diary is no more.

I'm sorry to hear that some of you ladies are still suffering ms, I'm happy to say mine stopped 2 weeks ago and I have never felt happier - other than wanting to sleep all the time.

I had my u/s on the 6/12 and my bubba was alive and well which was a big relief. my OB was happy with the condition of my uterus after 2 c-secs - so that made me even more relaxed knowing my bods was in good condition to look after this bubs. I have my ds scan on the 02/01 so I can't wait for that.

Well, hope to be on a lot more and get to know you ladies a bit better. Sorry for the ramble :o

Anita

Just came back from a visit to the doctor. It wasn't my normal Dr as he's on holidays and had to be seen by another. This Dr has decided that I cannot do shared care anymore. I am considered high risk & have a negative blood group (which is a complication in itself) and has written out another referral for the hospital advising them to see me as soon as possible.

I only had the twins 5 months ago so I can see his point however it's a bit of a spanner in the works.

Hmm wonder what the hospital obstetricians are going to say, whether the option of the VBAC is still there and if I will be on regular visits or on frequent visits like I was with the twins. Every two weeks until 7 months and then every week until I had them as opposed to every month until 8 months then every two weeks until 36 wks and then every week. I hope not I hated waiting hours on ends to see the obstetrcians for a 5 second app.

Hope everyone and babies are well

Can I ask lollie why you are considered High Risk? Is it just because your negative blood type? I have negative blood but have never been consider High Risk, had share care with my first bub too.

Hello everyone well its been a little while since i have been on just so tierd and so busy with christmas havent had the time. Hope everyone is well!!

Had my first ob appointment on Friday and as i suspected i was not quite as far along as i thought i was only 9 weeks not 11 weeks so my edd has now changed to 21/7. But all was well as ob said "everything is normal, and normal is good!!!!" Bubba was 21.9 mm long not sure what the heart beat was as ob didn't say but i could see the heart beating so that was good enough for me. I have a picture but it is really hard to make anything out init apart from the 2 crosses marking either end of the little blob:laughing: . I will load the pic into my photobucket in a minute and post it for you aswel.

I have a gorgeous son 1yr old son, Zachary Michael, 11/12/05. I'm 20yrs old and live in the snowy mountains. We have been TTC since Zac was about 5mths old, hoping to fall preggers with them close together.
I'm due on the 20th July 07 and i am so excited and hopefully this one will be a pink one!! That would make our family complete. I haven't had that bad m/s :fingerscrossed: which i think is great, i am just really tired all the time. With Zac i was in bed for 5wks!!:banghead: Oh and also my first u/s is booked for the 3rd January so i can't wait for that!!!:smiliedance:
Anyway looking forward to getting to know you girls. I was on another forum with Zac and i have made lasting friendships with them so i hope i will with some of you.

If anyone's wondering why I don't do personals when I come in is because it's just a tad hard being up to date with everyone's going ons when you don't have the time to check in very often.

Welcome Pixie. I'm Lollie, I'm a 23 yo married mum to a 4 yo boy and 5 month old B/G twins. Number 4 is due 9th July 2007 - probably be a June baby though. Nice to meet you and I wish you well for your journey.

Welcome Pixie, your little man is a cutey pie alright!! Hope your pregnancy is going well!
Hey Codysmummy wheres that scan pic, looking forward to seeing it, glad all went well with your appt!!
I am 8weeks today so I suppose I should take a pic, *sigh* really dont feel like it!! I haven't changed much anyway. I have lost 3kgs since I have fallen pregnant and I haven't regained an ounze of it yet , it is so strange I reckon?!?!? I think my tum isstarting to feel a little tight so something is growing in there, and it's draining my body of all nutrients, hence why I have lost weight I think, plus I feel really weak and shaky alot, does anyone else feel like this??
I am eating (well trying to), I am snacking on small things like fruit and bread during the day and eating lots of vege soup that I made. Foods that I normally enjoy just don't go down well at the moment, I feel sick after eating meat or anything processed.
It's a good thing I suppose since I am eating healthy!!

Yes, I feel shaky alot of the time, its really weird! I have good days and bad ones, yesterday was bad, had breakfast and then felt sick all day and could'nt eat much. Today, has been good so far.....:fingerscrossed: it stays that way! I have also been eating fruit like its going out of fashion! Especially nectarines and watermelon........mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I guess the weather doesn't help as you don't really feel like eating heavy meals in the heat.

Hi all
Well after a a scarry few wekks I have got the all clear from my doc so I am so happy. I wrote a few weeks ago about my scan that didn't go to well well I had internal bleeding which was around the babies sack. They were worried and I had to have another scan and it looks as if it is just an implantation bleed so that is all good... My bubba had his arms and legs kicking and just looked so cute and his heart was going at 182bpm so that is such a relief.. We will be finding out the sex now for sure..

Well M/S is still with me and I can't stand it. I have been feeling a bit better but I get a few good days and then it hits me...

I am working my butt offf as I have to get all my kids toys and put them away for chrissy so there is room for their new ones. I have carpet cleaners in on Tuesday and a graduation for my niece tomorrow night and have just been off my feet....

I can't remember who it was that said their MIL read their diary and now you feel like you have nowhere, well I can relate the same thing happened to me after borrowing their computer when mine had a virus!! So it goes to show you just can't trust the people you think are close!!

PIXIE congrats and I hope you have a great pregnancy!!

Well got heaps to do so will pop in sometime and catch up again!!

Well i had a nice relaxing weekend (first one in 3 months!) where we did nothing really, was great! Feeling really tired still but i am happy to say that my m/s seems to be slowing down now, yay! I can be normal again!

Have my first hospital appointment today, i'm a bit excited actually, got a babysitter for the kids so i can sit and read in the waiting room

Maybe i'll read my baby names book?? It's proving that names will take us a while this time.

Oh I got my doppler on the weekend, but it won't work till i'm 12 weeks, waiting waiting!

Hope you are all well, that m/s is settling and your energy levels are picking up :hugs:

The constant nausea is draining, im trying to eat and sometimes just throwing it all back up. I hope it stops soon.
Mumma-jessy I know you suggested Maxalon which I was gonna get but I havent been vomitting as much but the constant nauseaus feeling wont go away- any suggestions for that?

Hi Everyone... (Sorry - yes this is a repeat post.)

DP was working from home last week so I missed out on all my usual Bubhub time :crying: . I've managed to keep up with all of your posts through subscription emails though... Anyway I've got the computer back now!! :smiliedance:

I've booked in at the hospital. Got my first appoint for 8th Jan. They've stuck me in the high risk group as I have type 2 diabeties, but I don't feel very high risk. I'm sure my belly is sticking out now, but I am back being comfortable in my normal clothes and can still sleep on my belly. I think I must have just been bloated a few weeks back.

I've also got the NT and dating scan booked for the 17 Jan so then I'll know if I belong here or in the Aug thread.

I can't wait for Christmas Day to tell everyone :ecomcity: . Some people have been asking if I am preg yet - some I've lied to and some I've shared the secret! We have got the Grandfolks (on both sides) amongst other things, a framed b&w photo of DS. I wanted to put with it a note from DS saying "Guess what Grandma/Grandad - I'm going to be a big brother!" but DP thought that was stupid. He can tell them then...

:yelclap: Congrats to all the latest BFP's. Sorry for no personals - its been information overload catching up!

Afternoon mummies 2 be, Just a quick one to say thankyou for all the warm welcome's! i really appreciate them.
Weekend was pretty hectic for us, DH played cricket on Saturday, then i had to go to work. Then Sunday we had 2 christmas parties to go to, Zac had his kids one at the Pub in the afternoon and then we had our staff one at night, it was pretty cool, they shut the pub at 6pm and we had free drinks and food all night! Not that I could enjoy anything free, being preggers and all!!!
I have been feeling really good this last week, just i am so so so so so tired!! oh and hungry!!
Telling people - We have already told everyone, it wasn't that big of a secret for us. We did actually plan to tell everyone on christmas day, but SIL ruined that by announcing to the world that she was preggers and kinda ruined that for us:banghead: so we just told everyone.
So anyway i'll be back later, gotta go feed a little man, he's pulling at my shirt, chat u all soon

Morning lovely ladies!

Well the hospital appointment went well yesterday, although 1 hour long (glad i left the kids with someone)

Did all my bloods, talked about gentic history and medical history and my other births etc etc etc, even though it was all there in a file in front of the woman you have to go through it all over again :banghead:

So hopefully now i'll just get a call form the midwives saying i have been accepted into their care and make my next appointment!

Can't wait for my 12 weeks scan on the 3rd of Jan, and my BIG scan is all booked for the 20th of Feb! How exciting!! We have also decided that this time we are going to get a 3D scan done too, just for fun, we are not going to have another baby after this one so it's our last chance for a 3D scan i guess.

M/s is still here, but getting better, still feel real nauseous in the afternoon but a maxalon usually helps that a bit.

Right must go, have todo the food shopping today and get all the step kids pressies (forgot about them :o )

Sorry bout the 'Me' post, my head is in another place this morning, so much to do!

Mumma Jessy- Glad all went well with your appt. I bet your pumped for you scan! How do you arrange a 3D scan, we want one too!

Len- welcome back to bubhub land honey! Did you catch up on all the goss, or just hoping you can pick back up from now! Its crazy being away for a few days and so much to read to catch up:laughing:

NIki- hope that horrible tiredness goes. You poor thing. Its so hard looking after kids and being tired at the same time isnt it:hugs:

angelbaby8- glad to hear all is ok. What have you tried for the sickness? I have been drinking a sorbet ice tropical crush from boost juice and its helping so much and trying to eat small amounts often. Hope you come good soon hun.

Im feeling pretty good today, the key for me seems to be to eat. If i dont force something in I feel worse. I have been having a boost juice everyday and thats helping too. I wanna be well for Christmas day:fingerscrossed:

Len - My appointment was actually on time! I was actually in with the middwife for an hour! Not sure if she knew what she was doing though, ended up having a blood test in each arm cause she forgot about one of them. Walked out feeling, poked, prodded, stabbed and sore to be honest. Thank god thats over!

Lanie - so sorry to hear your DF has left for the UK, when is he due back? We are here for you hun, whenever you need us (hugs) Where are you having your scan? Might see you there!!

Hi Ladies

Hope everyone is well, and not getting too busy with the preparations of Christmas. I tried to have a quiet Christmas this year, but it doesn't look like it, starting Christmas day we are going to be busy till the new year. Then after the new year we have another wedding and more big birthdays - doesn't seem to stop here. I am trying to get lots of rest, there are times I have no choice I am that tired. But thankfully there are other times where I am have lots of energy.

Have my 12 wk scan on Friday, nervous and excited at the same time. My mum will be down to look after the boys and DH will be home just in time to come as well. I had a blood test on Monday for Down Syndrome, so next week I will go and see the doctors with both results.

mysonroger: there is a thread in the due in july section called "what is your edd" just go to the last post and there will be and updated list.

my4True Angels Glad to hear the appointment went well. Good luck with the scan. Let us know how you

Baileys Mummy I found eating every couple of hours works for me as well, as soon as I feel queasy if I have something light I do better. I have read somewhere that they advise you to have smaller meals throughout the day instead of 3 big meals.

Laine :hugs: its so hard when our partners are not home, espically for so long and at a this time as well. Remember we are always here to chat.

Mumma_jessy Glad to hear your first appointment went well, mine isn't till the 23rd of Jan. Good to hear the m/s is better.

Len: Welcome Back :D I don't know how you have waited this long to tell everyone, the only people who don't know are those we haven't seen or talk to.

Well I am off, sorry if I have missed anyone. If I don't get to post by Christmas:

:tree:MERRY CHRISTMAS :tree:

Get lots of rest and hope lots of wonderful presents come you way.

Thanks guys for your support! Took a couple of days but I am feeling much better about things and getting used to being the old independent me again.. I really can't wait till he gets back though lol.. Thank goodness for Bubhub!

mumma_jessy: Having the appt at the Womens and Childrens with my OB. He says he does a quick scan at every visit which I think is monthly just to make sure things are on track. I can't wait!

Oooh on another note, my friend who is also due around the same time as me is going to the Womens and Childrens but she wont have her next appointment till the 28th of Feb!!! I could never hold out that long, she also didnt get a scan the last time she went in.. Found it a little odd but I guess its normal for hospitals to do that. DF is back around the 28th of Feb, so I will be looking forward to that date aswell :D

jkat - Good luck with your scan!! 12wk scan, so exciting.. I seriously cant wait for mine (have I said that yet  ) Im sure everything will be perfect!

To everyone else, have a great day today!

Morning Ladies, how are we all??
Zac is at Day care today so i have the whole day to myself YAY:smiliedance: DH finishes work on Friday, then 2wks holidays.

Bailey's Mum - Yeah i have been resting, ALOT, another busy weekend this weekend too i can't wait to get the weekend's back that i don't have to do anything or go anywhere! Eating seems to help me alot as well, if i don't have something in the morning i feel like **** most of the day, not sick, just blurrggggg!
My4trueangles - Glad everything is ok, i was looking at the heart monitors as well, although they are a little expensive for my liking, i love ebay!!
jkat - I know what u mean about busy...OMG i am kinda not looking forward to the xmas new year period atm, all i wanna do is sleep!!
Laine - I don't think i would be able to hold out that long either, that's crazy!! Although i had to ask for my 12wk scan because it isn't a common thing where i am from, they only do the 20wk one, i had to have one though, i did with Zac as well.
Anyway i am off to clean some floors:banghead: It's a little hard to do with a little person 'helping' you wash them, wednesday's are my day's!:D
I'll be back later, also go and check out my belly it is huge, i think i am having twins, everyone else's bellys are so cute and little, i think i was about as big as i am now around about 20wks with Zac  it's in the 'stats' thread,

Pixie- Your meant to be resting on your day without Zac:shame: LOL! I know its hard when so much to do! Try and have a break if you can darl.

Me...well feeling pretty good today. I am beginning to think that I control my sickness by remembering to eat. Something that I tried but didnt work with Bailey- i was ill bad then and lost weight.

Looking forward to Xmas- just gonna miss a nice cold glass of champers but im sure ill cope:laughing:

Belly is popping out so much already, its embarrassing. Im only 9 weeks:o

Poor Holly must be really suffering I have only seen here here once in the past week!! I have been following Deevine's diary and she has been posting regulary so she is still here, just snoozing alot I'd imagine lol!!
I am being slack too, since the times that I am normally on here (when Xavier is in bed) I am sleeping too lol!!!
Have had such an upset tummy, I get diarhhea at the drop of a hat and haven't been able to eat much other than soup (luckily I love soup) and fruit.
I jumped on the scales today and I have dropped another kilo to 56kgs now:eek: this pregnancy thing is sure good for me as it forces me to eat healthy by way of healthy cravings and m/s.

Laine sorry you and your man are apart, that must be hard at xmas time and when you are feeling so tired etc :hugs:

Pixie - your tummy looked cute, definately getting a little round huh? I cant wait till mine does too, I will spend all day rubbing it like last time!!

Niki - sorry you are sick, you poor thing the last thing you need on top of m/s and fatigue is a cold!!

Same to you Niki, hope you are both feeling better soon.

Sounds like there are HEAPS of 12 week scans over the next 3 weeks or so... ( of course there are as we are all approaching that mark)

I had another scan today - my dates are still correct.
bub was 25mm long, but i forgot to ask about the heartbeat and he didnt mention what it was.
http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e329/tara-jane/9weeks2days-2012061.jpg

Im all booked in for the 12 week scan on the 12th Jan, for some reason the wanted me to be 12.5 weeks, but by my calculcations ill be 12weeks5 days.... never mind.
They said it will be a 3D one which im excited about, and they give you a CD with all the images on it :smiliedance:

Although we'll get to see gummie at my first appt too!

Jules, I think we all feel that way! I always get nervous before my scans as well!

jkat, hope you feel better soon hun :hugs:

afternoon all:wave:

my cold is a lil beta today

i have to go and have my blood tests tomorrow, naughty me has been putting them off woops

how many weeks are u usually when u have a 3d scan? i never had one with jake

is anyone else getting impatient wanting to know the sex of bubs?

Niki- Its killing me not knowing.......Ive heard u can find out at 12 weeks but its not as conclusive as if u wait till 16-20weeks. Im going to book in my 18week scan soon so I know I can get in when Im 18weeks on the dot!!

mumma_jessy- I know what u mean with the teething. Ur poor DD getting her molars! My DS is getting some teeth and we were up all night.

jkat- Hope u feel better soon! It sux being sick at christmas not to mention being sick when pregnant! :hugs:

Deevine- Ur scan pic is so cute! THe difference between a 7week scan and now is amazing!! Look forward to seeing the 3D ones!

Lil X-man- I feel the same about doubting if Im pregnant sometimes! I just feel bloated with abit of indigestion (sp)!!

Im itching for my ultrasound and its not till the 10th Jan.....also cant wait to tell everyone Im pregnant! We're announcing it to my family (my parents know but my grandparents, auntie, uncles and cousins don't) and Im a little worried because my grandma (very old fashioned) is VERY awkward (sp) about things like pregnancy! When my mum first got pregnant she never said congrats or anything then when my mum miscarried she never said "Im sorry for ur loss" or even acknowledged what had happened. When I got pregnant with DS my grandmother wrote me a letter (rather nasty) saying Im rushing my life and I shouldnt get married just because I was havin a baby (I didnt get married then) although implied I should be married to have a baby!

Sorry that was a long story.....just a little nervous about how she'll react.......

Hi everyone

Thanks for all the hugs. Wasn't feeling too bad this morning, well that was until I went to put the garbage out and was sick - kind of (well read this thread (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?t=57118) it may be tmi). I am feeling better, but still very tired. I don't like these boys of mine getting up at 5.30 or lying awake for a few hours in the middle of the night that was very frustrating.

Anyway have my 12 wk scan today, nervous bit worried that it will be too early, usually they like to do it in the middle of you 12 wk, not the beginning. See how it goes. If I get a pic I will definitely post it.

Youngmumsteph :hugs:sounds like your grandmother as some issues about pregnant people, don't let her get you down. Remeber we are always her to vent to...

Niki glad that cold is getting better. Would love to know the sex but it won't be till middle of February that we find out, its amazing how many people do ask when we are finding out.

cmd'smum - normal is nice isn't it :D

mumma_jessy - sounds like a lovely Christmas planned. :hugs: to your little girl, such a yucky time. My DS2 still has no teeth and he is 11 mths already!!

Well I am feeling a lot better, although I want to make sure I can eat something before I need to start only having water. Wish me luck, and I will chat to everyone later.

Good luck with your scan today Jkat I hope you are far enough along to make it worthwile!! Well if not at least will be exciting to see bubs!!
:smiliedance:

youngmumsteph - Try not to worry about your Grandma she is in a different world, the world has changed and she is still stuck in 1950, dont let her take your excitement about being pregnant away!!

I know how you feel though coz after we moved here from NZ and were staying with our Bro and SIL for a couple of weeks till we got our own place, we announced we were pregnant and she was horrible about it, saying things like "oh well it's done now, nothing you can do about it", ASSUMING, that we hadn't planned the pregnancy when we actually had!!
It really got me down, so I am enjoying my pregnancy this time and noone is going to ruin it for us!! (It helps that the SIL is now our ex- SIL, although she is :devil6: and probably reading this post thats the kind of person she is lol!!!)

Anyhoo.............
Hope everyone is feeling slightly better! I am ok, had an apple for Breaky that seems to get me off to a good start!

Hope you are all feeling well this moring!

Jkat - goodluck with your scan today, how exciting for you!!

youngmumsteph - don't worry bout what others will say, as long as you are happy thats all that matters. I know it helps if everyone else is excited too though, we are all excited for you here!

I'm itching for my ultrasound now too, less than 2 weeks now, i'm sure the time will fly by between now and then, DF will be home so we will be busy. Until then i luckily have my doppler to listen now and then, that helps!

Feeling pretty cr*p this morning, hoping to go somewhere today with the kids DS is gettingcranky being inside. First it was too hot, then yesterday and today it has been raining, poor little guy is BORED!

Hi guys

I can't believe how **** we are all feeling!! I have been a bit better but last night I got a bit bad I think I was that tired..

Well after all the messing around with the internal bleeding my doc said don't book into ob until we know what is happening, well as we know everything is fine but when I rang to get in to my ob he is booked out for July:gloomy: .

So I rang my gp and he gave me 2 others one of which I haven't heard too many good things about Dr Kemper and then Dr Lam which my gp said he is a really great man so I went with him. Lucky he has moved to our area. So I am looking forward to my appointment but cannot get in until 24th January so they said I have to book my 12 week scan through my gp and also book the hospital otherwise I won't get in.... So I have a lot to do!!

We went to see the Myer windows with my niece and I must say I think this year is the best for me. We love going into the city at this time of the year having tea etc. Good to get out and relax. We are off to see some lights tonight... I have seen some great ones on the news but don't know where they are so have to do some searching online.

Well I can say I have everyones present except the box of choccies my DD decided to break into chocolate liquer ones... I am know busy wrapping and wishing I had only got 1 gift for each child instead of all the ones I got...

Truly I am hoping I have a great day with no sickness because my mum puts on Roast pork, duck, chicken, turkey, ham and all the trimmings and I would hate if I couldn't eat any of it!!:crying: I however am having roast pork for my SIL and family on boxing day, yep I am very slack!!

I will be posting big posts like this as I hardly come on now and like to fill you all in and then come back and catch up..

Oh just want to add I love everyones chrissy avatars:tree:

Hi everyone,

Jkat- Good luck with the scan today.

Youngmumsteph- I understand how you feel. I haven't told either of DH'S parents or mine because the reaction is not going to be good. It is going to be like what were you thinking when you fell preg, didn't you use any form of contraception, ria is too small and you should have thought of her,how are you going to take care of two small kids.:ecomcity: :ecomcity: Mine and DH's family live in India so they will request me again to come back to India at the time of delivery which i didn't do Ria's time and i am not gonna do again.
Don't worry. Don't let your grandma get on your nerves.

Mumma_jessy- wow. You have a doppler. Where did you get it from?

Angelbaby8- I had a small query. Is it necessary to be referred by your GP to see your obs? When i was preg with Ria, i was going public till 38 weeks, and then suddenly my hubby and my parents who came from India started worrying and in a hurry we went private. We got an apptt with the obs soon and got booked to the hosp soon. I am not planning it this way and going private from the very beginning so a little insight will be good.

So sorry for the long post.

Take care everyone.

priya-
I am public and have always gone public but I don't know how but I ended up going to privat obs as I was referred. I didn't know at the time that there was a hospital maternity appointments which you can get your scans and all that for free. I paid $55 each appointment and had 2 appointments that cost $120 it cost me more than being private. However I got the same obs everytime who knew all the details which was great in public you don't get that. Also your appointments are more regular.

As for the hospital they are only allowed to take a certain number of births and I am high risk as I haemorrage so I have to go there, thats why they book you in. Our area is the fastest growing suburb in Vic with so many young families in our area hence why my obs was booked out.. I hope that helps a bit

Hi,

Angelbaby- Thanks a lot. I went public for quite a time with Ria and mine approach was the same. It was a shared care with GP and obs at public hospital. All was going fine and then my mother came to visit me and she terrified us a lot so we had to go to see a private obs and i had my delivery at a private hospital.
I just wanted to tell you that i have came here in australia only 18 months ago and have only the slightest clue how the health system works here . I do as what i am told. Thatswhy your advice is so valuable. Thanks again.

Hey Girls!

Jkat- glad the scan went well although a print out would have been great to see your little bubba.

Steph- dont worry about your gran- you dont need that stress just enjoy your pregnancy and I know its easier said than done but ignore everyone else.

Angelbaby- I know what you mean about the sickness- i really wanna feel well on xmas coz i dont wanna miss out on my Parents BIG feast of food! Worst case, Ill eat and if I bring it all back up then at least I got to taste it:laughing:

Mumma-jes-I wanna a doppler!!!!! Yes it is so hard being chirpy and entertaining the kids when you feel like s**t! I feel for ya hun.

Little X man- glad you feeling a bit better! I remember with Bailey always eating apples until one morning I threw it back up and the acid with it for like days so I didnt eat them EVER again LOL! You sound like you have been so healthy, please send me some healthy dust! Looking at your belly pics, im envious of your toned tum, how did you get that after your first bub? Do you exercise heaps?

Niki- glad your colds better!

I had DHs xmas work family fun day today, was good but so hot that i felt nauseaus. Had a nice big meal though and that made me feel surprisingly better, seems the more I eat the better I feel. Still got quite a while til my scan 3 1/2 weeks, I so so so cant wait. I dont feel pregnant yet because I havent seen bub, although my belly has really popped out and im only 9 weeks:eek: I guess it will go quick, christmas then DH bday, then good friends bubs 1st bday, then my besties bday, my aunties bday...all this to fit into 2 weeks after new year!!!

Talk soon ladehs!

Oh Allyoo welcome and congratulations!!! I feel humbled when I comlplain about feeling so ill, but you have it sooo much worse, I really hope it doesn't last too long for you this time, poor thing. :hugs:

Jkat - glad your scan went well, sorry we didnt get to see a piccy though, I love looking at them!!

Pixie - Merry Christmas to you too I hope you have a wonderful and not too stressful time!

Anglebaby - so good to hear that everything is well with your pregnancy now, it must have been a difficult time for you not knowing whether everything was going to be alright or not.:hugs:

Baileysmummy - I am wishing the time away at the moment too just so I can see my bubba on the screen, it's so hard when you can't see your bub to know for sure that everything is going ok. I am however excited about xmas this year, Xavieris going to love opening his pressies so that keeps me happy till the 18th of Jan!
In answer to your questions, I am only eating healthy because this baby is forcing me too, since I have gone off all the yummy and naughty things I normally like. For example pork chops and crackling and pretty much all meats it sucks.
I didn't exercise after having Xavier much other than walking and everyday activities, I have a gym membership which I have used all of 10 times in the past year (what a waste of money!).
I was in the army in NZ for a couple of years before we moved over here so I guess that kept my body in shape so I was still pretty fit when I had Xavier hence why my stomach didn't get too floppy, it's not what it used to be though lol!

Mummajessy - aww I bet your doppler is lots of fun, I want to get one but DH would kill me since they arent exactly cheap!

Priya - Gosh I hope your family dont casue too much drama when they find out you are pregnant again! They can casue soo much stress sometimes even though their hearts are usually in the right place!
I hope you find the antenatal care you want!

Well a big Merry Christmas to everyone!!

Hi everyone,

Allyoo-- Congratulations.

Pixie- Merry xmas to you and a very happy new year.

Julie- Merry xmas and thanks a lot.
You know, i remember exactly each and every word which my mum said at the time of Ria. I was overdue and she was more worried than us. She said that the head of the baby is not engaged so most likely i will have to have c/s. [ she is an obs herself. ] I had a fight with her on this issue. I laugh when i look in retrospect. In the end i was induced after being five days overdue. It was a tough vaginal delivery [ it took 12 hrs and assisted with ventouse with second degree tear] but it was much better than c/s.
My mum really freaked us a lot. I don't want to have that experience again.

:tree: Merry Christmas everyone:tree:

HI all, hope you all had a fantastic christmas!
we officially told the world yesterday that we are haven another bubba.... this time all were pleased!
I have been so so so tired latly and have been doing alot of sleeping and not much else. Except for being hormonal, which seems to make dh and i fight all the time, which isnt that great, hopefully that will pass soon:fingerscrossed:

allyoo- hope you were able to stomach some of the food on christmas day! and start to feel better soon

niki- hope your cold has gone away now

priya & Steph- hope your families let you have a stress free pregnancy! last year when i was preggas with ds i didnt talk to my mu until about a month before he was due.... she was "disapointed"in the desicions id made grrrrr.. family... wish they could be supportive of our choices 100% of the time!

well it seems like you are all having 12 week scans? when i went to the docs to look at my dating scan he wasnt even going to ask if i wanted it, the only reason it got mentioned was cause I said would it be nesesarry, as id be such a low risk?? he siad there'd be no real point so it was up to me. we decided to leave it so i have to wait anbother 8 weeks to see our bubba, but we will be finding out the sex!!

Is every1s bellys starting to pop out some more? i feel so much bigger already then last time.. i am carrying an extra 10 kgs then i was then though:thumbsdown:. to date i have put on half a kilo i think, which is good cause i dont wana put 20+kgs on this time round!

well i have babled on alot, think i might go and have a sleep, have to work tonight and ds has just gone to sleep

take care:wave:

Young mum Steph and Bel Aiden - thats great to hear everyone was supportive of your good news that would have made the day much happier for you!!

Neislbug - sorry you have been so tired I can fully relate lol ( wonder why??) it is hard to get the motivation to write a big post when you feel tired to the bones!!!

We had a lovely xmas day, well I tried I was happy , but tired and :barf: all day so force fed myself the food I would normally be scoffing down with gusto!!
After lunch I was ready to pack it in and have siesta, but I managed to stay awake all day woohoo!!
We we re all stuffed by the end of the day and Xavier even put himself to bed at 7pm. "nigh nigh mummy" and hopped into bed! Aww so cute when he's all grown up!!
Now I have to find more space for the millions of toys he got from santa OMG:eek:

I am feeling less like :barf: today so hopefully the worst of it is over now, after a terrible week of :barf: last week.
How is everyone else going some of you must be pretty much past the m/s stage now, as some of you approach the 12week mark woohoo. Can't wait to get there, only two and half weeks!!

Hey everyone, hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

I feel so fatigued lately and computers are not my bestfriend right now or I would be posting a lot more often.

Bel Aiden and Youngmumsteph - So happy to hear it all went well telling the family!
Bel Aiden - I just realised you and your DH share the same birthday! how trippy is that?

I told my Aunt and Uncle on Christmas Day whom by the way I never see at all anymore (they only came over to see my grandma who was with us for the day). Anyway the reaction I got was not very nice  and I was surprised as they never call, or visit me EVER so why would they care? Basically I got a big "Are you getting rid of it??" response. Also.. "Was it an accident?" Then when I said no it was planned they seemed to be even more shocked with my Aunt saying "I didnt even know you had a boyfriend!!"

Anyway, they left after all that and she said well good luck and I probably wont see you till the kid is in high school anyway.... So yes.

This baby doesnt agree with carrot, its the only thing I feel like eating but everytime I do I feel like :barf:

I can't wait to hit the 12 week mark and to go to my appt next week!!

Great to hear you are feeling a bit better today Lil-Xman, sounds like you had a great Christmas aside from feeling sick! Hopefully by new years you will feel much better and be able to celebrate more.

Have a great day girls!

priya & angelbaby8 -how are you going with BFing? my nipples no longer hurt, but i think i am producing less milk... might have to start remembering how important it is to drink 2L of water a day lol. i cant believe my boobs have grown again though.. im now a 14e.. i hope they dont get any bigger!!

Hi lovely laides!

Good to hear you all had a good Christmas. Mine went well, but we have 3 days of Christmas, so by today i am just exhausted!

Still feeling sick unfortunately, even though i'm almost 12 weeks, oh well the Dr said MOST of the time it is gone by week 14 so i won't get too down about it yet!

DF is home till Tuesday so if i'm not here a lot you know why, trying to cram in as much family time as possible!

Went shopping today, chaos, won't be doing that again for a while, crazy people around!

This time next week i will have had my 12 week scan, I'm so excited!! :smiliedance:

bel_aiden - glad to hear your feeling less tired now

Lanie - sorry to hear about your families reaction, don't worry about them, we are excited for you hun!

Lil X - Still with you on the feeling sick, hopefully it will calm down for us both very soon

Steph - glad to hear your family were happy, know about all the toys, we are gonna have to do a major clean out this week to fit them all in!

Hi everyone,

Bel- I am continuing with B/F and yeah i have noticed that my nipples are less tender. About the milk supply i don't know but i don't have engorged breasts anymore if ria misses her feed. So that may be a indicator. I am trying to limit her feeds so i can gradually wean her at the time of delivery.

Mummajessy and julie- I am tired of this sick feeling also and want to get rid of fast. When i was preg with Ria my m/s didn't left me until the time of delivery so i hope that this is not the case this time.:fingerscrossed:

Steph- I also told my family a couple of days before and they were so excited to hear about the news. Only MIL said that o.k. everything is for good. I didn't understand her comment but then forget it.

Laine- I was surprised to hear your uncle/aunt's reaction. Nobody should react like that. Afterall its our choice not theirs in our family matters.

Love.

Thats right, and they have been absent from my life for such a long time (since my dad died when I was 11) so they have no right to say anything they dont even know me.. ah well I think I am over it now lol.. My aunt I have never really got along with she always prefered my sister and my uncle (my mums brother) had always been the 'cool' uncle

Guess times do change!

Much more important things to focus on these days

Thanks ladies for your support :hugs:

Laine..... sooooooo rude of your aunt, ah well, who cares, you have much more exciting things to worry about

Niki......good luck for tomorrow, can't wait to see your pics!

Well, still tired here, had a really bad tummy bug last night, I was freaking out because I had cramps, not period type ones, but it still freaked me out  Have no appetite and thats about it! Queasiness is becoming less and less. Has anyone else got no appetite?

I have my Ob's appointment on the 5th of Jan, so not too long till we have a peak at bubs! Then my 12 weeks scan will be scheduled about a week after that! Can't wait!

Hope you're all enjoying the holidays! Can't beleive this year is nearly over

Hi everyone, hope you had a lovely Christmas. Ours was busy and still hasn't finished. We have another busy weekend to come, as we still haven't seen DH mum and step dad. Then we have a busy couple of months ahead. Hopefully after February things will slow down till July anyway . MS is still around, some mornings, I feel good others I feel awful, can't eat anything and have to lie down till I feel better - that was hard with so much going on.

I couldn't believe yesterday my boobs started to leak (only a small amount!!) What happen was we were at one of DH relatives house, and there was a 3 month old bub, the mum was getting dinner ready, and a Aunty had the baby, as soon as it started to cry I couldn't help but want to comfort it, which the Aunty was happy for me to do , and it was lovely as soon as I got the bub it calm down, I felt so lovely and warm inside. Anyway I could swear I felt the milk coming down, I thought it was just be being crazy and remembering the feelings. But when I checked later - looks like the bubs cry had started things - I was so excited :smiliedance:

cmd's mum - It is usual to have mysterious stomach pains, just keep an eye one them and if you get to worry go and see the doctor. My appetite is up and down, sometimes I don't want a thing, other times I am starving.

Niki - all the best for the scan today.

Mumma_Jessy - enjoy the family time. I don't want to go to the shops for a least a week, but there are a few things I have to do tomorrow - trying to get there early, so hopefully it won't be too bad.

bel_aiden - :yelclap: for you little man.

Laine :hugs: Silly Aunt. How are things going?

Lil x-man Can you come and organise all our toys too lol - thats my job today, they are still over the lounge room floor as we haven't been home the last two days to do anything. Glad to hear Ms is getting better

Thats enough :ecomcity: from me. Have a bit of house work to catch up on.

Lil X-men
28-12-2006, 07:41
Cmdsmum- I am STARVING!!!! But there is not one thing in the house I can look at without dry reching grrr!!
Last night I made a huge pot of soup and froze some of it, it is the only thing that doesnt make me heave, that and apples or grapes, I would love some strwberries but they are pricey at the moment.
I keep thinking I am better as I wake up odd days and go hey I'm not sick then all of a sudden it kicks in.
Man I wish it was over so I could get back to my normal self lol!! Sorry for blabbing on about myself!!

Sorry you had a tummy bug, they s@ck at the best of times let alone when your preg. I had one when I first found out I was preg, felt like I was dying!!
I hope you are getting over it now.:hugs:

Jkat - I can't believe you had milk!! I sometimes get that tingling sensation but no actual letdown as such!

Niki- good luck with your scan tomorrow, will we get to see some pics of your twins??

mummajessy - I hope for both our sakes this m/s is over soon, last time I remember all of a sudden waking up one day and it was gone at around 13weeks I think, fingerscrossed you only have another week to go!!!

Bel Aiden - I was being nosy yesterday and looked at your wedding pics in your space, they are amazing!!! Where did you have the wedding?? That was a beautiful setting!! Your little man looked so cute too. We got married when Xavier was 3months old but coudlnt find a suit to fit. Did you have one made for him?

Laine - what a B!tch your Aunty was, luckily she is unimportant and you don't have to see her again. Since when is it her place to comment on your pregnancy and realtionship, makes my blood boil. If I were you I would have slapped her and told her to get out!! (Ok maybe not I'm not that brave but I would have wanted to lol).

Ok thats all I can think of to write now, as the bloody computer screen makes me :barf: anyone else too??

PLEASE let us all feel better soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

morning all!

Cmdsmum- im always hungry lol, except when im at work. i work around food and the more you see and cook the less you wana eat, but im always starven when i get home.. so sorry, no help there. Sorry to hear bout ya sore tummy... i occasionally get bad gassy paons, last time when i was preggas with ds i did to, i know they use to double me over in pain often.

Lil X-man- ya weremt being nosy at all.. they're there for all to see :) Aiden was 3 months old also when we got married. (26.4.6) We tried to organise a wedding up here (qld) but all our families are in vic and couldnt get a date to suit all.. so i posponed (sp) it and organised for us to elope hehe... got married in tassie up at craddle mountain. was the most gorgeous day the day we were married, and theyd had snow the week b4 we got there, hence the snow topped mountains.

jkat- must make things feel alot more real with ya boobies leaking already!!!

niki- good luck with your scan today!! how exciting!!! cant wwait to see the twins

Hi Ladies,

Urgh... im with you ladies on the m/s being this pits. Im so well and truly over it. This morning I was sitting on the couch feeling relatively ok when I felt like I needed to cough, coughed and vomitted all over myself:crying: Please hurry up and go away m/s:shame:

Niki- my heart melted when I saw your twins, they are so adorable!!! You must feel so excited hunny!

Laine- Ignore the insensitive comments from your family- especially if you have nothing to do with them. How cruel some people can be.

Little X men and mumma jes- OMG huns we can go out in sympathy with each other. How bad is this sickness. Its just gone on too long for my liking!

cdms mum and bel aiden- I find the same thing- STARVING all the time!!!!!!! But if I eat it helps with ms so I just eat and become the size of a house!

Hope everyone had a great xmas, gotta go. Bailey being very naughty GRRRRR.... and I have no patience right now!

Your pics are great Niki thanks for sharing :D By hte looks of it, your twins are monochorionic? If not there is a very very small divider in between them. Congrats, twins are the greatest gift.

I am 12.4 wks today and still no sign of any morning sickness, just very nauseated. I'm not sure if I said this the last time I was in here that I have been referred to the hospital for my antenatal appointments due to being too high risk but I received my confirmation letter today and am booked in on the 2nd february. I will be almost 18 weeks then. Am hoping for a VBAC :fingerscrossed:

A belated merry christmas to all. My kiddies had a great time. Here's a few pics if anyone's interested Password is lollie (http://s103.photobucket.com/albums/m131/lollie_smith/twins/)

Niki...those pics are soooooooooo sweet! How amazing!

jkat, My boozies are leaking too, esp these past two days, the leaks I've had have been about the size of a 10cent coin! I've also noticed that (TMI) my Nipples are itching every now and again, just like they did with DD. Is this happening to anyone else?

LilX, thanks hun, am feeling 100% today, think it was either my IBS playing up or a stomach bug, but whatever it is, its gone and hope it stays away!:fingerscrossed: We are nearing our 12 week mark so not long to go and hopefully we will all be feeling much better!

bel aiden, yep gas pains can be sooooooooooo bad! Hope you don't get anymore!

JCB. Congrats and have a wonderful pregnancy!

Baileys mummy, I was hungy all the time too, up until a few days ago! My DD is also being a little rascal lately, not a good time for this sort of behaviour :shame:

Hi girls,

It's been a while and I apologise, been so super busy with my 3 little girls and enjoying DH's holidays!

I hope Jan brings an end to all the m/s for everyone. Mine has thankfully stopped - I only had a few weeks of nausea but it was fairly constant. Now really strong smells still get me a bit so I steer clear of dirty nappies while DH is at home! LOL!

I had my 13 week scan on Thursday and all looks well. I'll post a pic once I've scanned the photo. During the scan a little hand popped up and waved to us which was so cute and the baby was jumping around all over the place!

I also have some other news! We have a fairly good idea of what we're having! Our Dr had a look and even though it's really early he told us what he thought. So. . . ..PLACE YOUR BETS!!! I have another appointment in 4 weeks (I'll be 17 weeks) and if the Dr does another scan I'll get him to confirm. Otherwise you'll all have to wait until the 18/20 week scan to find out! LOL!

Better go, still so much to do!

:hugs: for all those still getting morning sickness or its getting worse. Morning sickness for me so far is not wonderful. Still feeling nausea - espically in the morning, although it will come at anytime. At the moment, I can't seem to win - I am tired so I sit down and relax, but then I start to feel sick. If I try to get up I feel even worse. However once I do start to feel better and get up and keep myself busy I get tired once again...and so the cycle continues....does that even make sense :o....Anyway, whoever said that morning sickness gets better from 12 weeks lied!!!

Didn't too anything for New year, was asleep by 10!! Way too tired, to do anything else.

Mumma_jessy, can't wait till hear our the scan went. All the best.

Off to see if DS2 is ready to wake up, if he sleep s too much now, he wont have an afternoon sleep the same time as DS1 and that means I wont either :laughing:Life as a mother!!!

Happy New Year to you all...

Well I'm 13 weeks preggo today and I was hopeful for the MS disappearing from 12 weeks - Christmas day was with family, and I did dessert for a 6 course dinner, for which I felt shocking the whole time due to (a) not getting enough sleep - I seem to need 8 - 9 hours to feel normal - and (b) cooking an appetizer, a choc swiss roll with mousse and cream and mince pies and being knackered as result!

Anyhow, wasn't exactly festive-feeling and threw up later!!

Since then, things didn't seem to be improving and yesterday I threw up AFTER brekkie - usually I just do before hand, although nothing comes out - and felt REALLY REALLY bad for the whole day..

BUT THE SILVER LINING IS that TODAY, at 13 weeks, I'm at work and actually NOT FEELING PERMANENTLY SICK AND TIRED THE WHOLE DAY!!! YEEEEE HAA!!

So there is hope on the horizon, girls.. hang in there til 13-14 weeks and you'll find relief...

THANK GOD !! Like, 7 weeks of that horror, how much more could we bear!!!

:) Liz

Hello my fellow July bumps!

I am happy to say that i am feeling good today, no maxalon needed and i only napped for 1 hour even though i could have napped for longer cause the kids were still sleeping, woo hoo i'm on the mend!

I feel fat though, lol, it starts! This belly already, they say that every pregnancy you show quicker but 12 weeks, this is rediculous!

On a brighter note, i have my 12 weeks scan in less than 12 hours! :smiliedance: I'm so excited!

angelbaby - hope those kids are behaving for you now!

jkat - :fingerscrossed: that you star feeling better soon hun!

Lizola - hope you stay feeling that way! I know how bad it is to be throwing up all the time!

Lanie - Goodluck with your scan tomorrow hun, can't wait to see the piccies of your bubba!

Hey Mumma Jessy!

Just a quick one to say congrats on the scan and hope it all went well??? I had one at 6 weeks cos I had a threatened miscarriage :-( and they had to check all ok - and it was, phew!!!!

I won't have another til 18 weeks, I'm 13 weeks now and looking forward to it - so exciting!

.... the ms is being v v unpredictable - after thinking i was feeling better, I threw up dinner 5 mins after eating it last night, which had taken me nearly an hour to cook!! I reckon things might be going a bit up and down before they settle completely, as I feel not-too-bad today!

I thought it was a boy before we went to the scan but now i'm almost positive! While waiting for Bub to get in the right position she looked at the arms, legs face etc, and after she looked at the legs (we thought we saw a noodle etc) Then she called it a "he"!

Good to see your scan went well Lanie, what a cute little person you have there!

Must go, got a lot to do today, cleaning day

Sorry for the me post, just excited!

Hi everyone

Loving the pics, wish I had mine already, I am still waiting on the results:banghead: - even got the bill for the blood test the other day - ha they are not getting that till I have the results.

Nausea still around in the morning. Takes me awhile to get up and going, but trying to keep things easy while we can.

Oh, and for those who haven't already there is a thread will all the dates of people who are expecting this year, I am sure once our names are there we will have one huge group - lots of new babies in bub hub land this year. Though I am sure it is like that every year :D. It is in the general pregnancy section.

Have good day everyone

To everyone still suffering m/s big :hugs: to you all. I know how you are feeling & it sucks. Im currently managing to keep down ice blocks but thats it looks like im going to have to harass my doctor for Zofran *sigh*.

Wow those who have scans how awesome
Im still waiting on going for mine, well actually part of the reason is im not exactly up for the 20min walk to the doctors to get my referral. Will do so soon especially as i have to organise to get myself booked into the hospy. No hurry though really because they wont want to see me for ages anyways ! Plus im scared of what they will tell me heh :o

 Hi girls

Hope you're all doing well!

Mumma jessy...your poor thing! Hope you feel better very very soon :hugs:

Niki, hope you're feeling better too! Not long to go to youre wedding, how exciting!:D

Well, I had my first Obs visit yesterday arvo, everything looks really good! He did a scan and we saw Gummie! The pic isnt very clear though as his machine is old. I will put the pic up in the "pics" section. I also did my BT for nuchal scan this morning and will book in my U/S Monday morning so :fingerscrossed: i'll have it end of this week or beginning of next. I'm also changing hospitals again, am going back to the hospital I was going to go to originally as my Ob feels its a better place for a VBAC as its bigger, has more equipement and anesthesitists (sp?) if I need an emergency c/section. plus he only lives 3 mins away and can get to me real quick. So thats my update!

Who else is yet to have their 12 week scan?

Hope you're all having a fantastic weekend!

JorBai

 Ladies!

cmds mum- glad your feeling good about the hospital change and I really hope you get your vbac. Its good that you have an open mind tho and are prepared if you need a csection again.

Im going for my NT 12 week scan on the 17th Jan, cant wait. I will be 12 weeks and 5 days then so I really hope my dates are accurate otherwise they wont be able to do the NT part of the scan.

Laine- Hope your headache is gone darl, it could be hormones causing it too. You poor thing. Panadol is fine. My dr actually told me its better for you and bubs to take a panadol than to put up with the pain.

Mumma-jessy- How is your hectic weekend going? I had a party today and had a fantastic time. It was great to get out, I felt sick this morning and was vomitting but when I got to the party I had a ball and ate way too much!!! It was good tho!

Allyoo- How are you coping with the hyperemesis and having a child to care for? I had hyperemesis in my first pregnancy for the 1st 14ish weeks so not as bad as you but I struggled to care for myself let alone have a child to care for too. :hugs: to you babe!

My sickness this pregnancy has been more nausea but this last week I have been throwing up every morning and its horrible. I thought I would be on the mend by now:( Oh well, I guess its all for a good cause!

Umm...what else is happening...Oh yeah, we are moving house soon into a 4br so I can do a bit of my beauty therapy from home and have a room for both kids. I love our town house but its just not gonna be practical once the new baby arrives.

Hope your all resting as much as you can and your partners/hubbies are looking after you!

Luv Leanne

Leanne: all the best with the move, 4 br place sounds lovely. Make sure you don't over do it with the moving, and have lots of rest.

cmdsmum: Glad to hear you ob appointment went well and you did get to see bub. Enjoy the scan today. Hopefully you will get a really good pic.

mumma_jessy: can I borrow your doppler that would be so cool. Have you felt any other movements, I know with DS2 I felt him earlier then DS1, but is it too early now. I am sure I have felt a couple of kicks.

Allyoo :hugs: How is everything going? Feeling any better.

Have a good day everyone, and chat soon

What a weekend! Turns out i have more of a virus or something, cause i am still feeling sick on and off. But on the mend, thankfully!

The parties were good on the weekend, got to catch up with a few people i haven't seen for a while which was good and the kids had a blast at the 2year olds party!

Yesterday DF and i went to Ikea just to look around at cupboards for the kids, as we will be needing more when we have this bub and ended up walking out with a new computer desk, so i am sitting here in style this morning, lol!

Re-thinking not finding out the sex, i'd really like to keep it a surprise but would be good to know so we can sort out the rooms and furniture, as two of the kids will have to share. If we do find out we have decided to keep it a secret from everyone else though.

jkat - you could borrow my doppler if you were round the corner hun! I'm sure i have felt bub more than once now, they say you feel them earlire when you have had babies already, so i guess it's not too early.

Bailey's mummy - hope you are feeling better soon hun :hugs:

cmd - glad you got to see your gummie and all is well

Right that's my essay for today, hope the rest of you are well too!

Hello everyone I feel bad that I haven't been in here much and I 'm a bit behind on all thats going on!
Hope everyone is well, or at least improving.

Just when I think I am feeling better for a day, BAM I wake up the next day and feel like utter cr@p again.

Mumma_jessy you said you have had headaches. How often are you getting them? I have had one everyday for the past week, it's like one continuous hangover and panadol does diddly squat to help, nor does drinking lots of water, I'm really tired of it and really hope it all eases in the next two weeks as I get past the 12 week mark.

Baileysmummy - your scan is the day before mine, I hope it goes well and your dates are correct. I was a little concerned about being further along too and not being able to do the NT test, but I'm sure we have our dates right, I will be 12weeks and three days when I have it done:fingerscrossed:

Jkat - I'm glad y our DH is better, it would be awful for you all to end up crook with whatever he had too!
Hope your m/s is easing up a bit, surely soon now that you are past your 12 week mark, well here's hoping anyway. Did you feel this bad with yur other pregnancies??

I swear I have it worse this time than last. Last time I was working through the first trimester and the way I feel now I couldn't work a full day, it's why I haven't been on here much, the screen makes me:barf:

cmdsmum - can't wait to see your scan pics let us know what date you have your NT booked in for.
I hope you can try for your VBAC.
My friend has just been booked for her second C-sec because she has developed GD at 36weeks gest, she was so dissapointed and I feel sad for her (sorry not a very inspritational story), I hope it goes better for you though hun!!:fingerscrossed:

Allyoo - how'd you get on with with your doc, did you get the much needed zofran???
I hope so it sounds like it is the only thing that will help you. I hope you are getting enough fluids. Make sure you go to the hospy for IV fluids if it gets too bad, don't want to end up too dehydrated darl!!

Laine - I hope you are feeling better and those panadol worked a treat, they don't do alot of good for me unfortunately.

Niki - I don't think my tum is hardening much yet...but I am noticing when I sleep on my tummy at night that it is getting a little uncomfy so my uterus must be starting to rise and take up some room in there!!
I hope you didn't catch another cold, how unfortunate if you have!

Ok I'm off for a bit of a lie down now, whilst the Xavman is in bed.

Bailey'smummy, good luck with your move, we are building at the moment and I'm worried that we won't get in there in time for gummie's arrival !!!!!!

Jkat, glad to hear your DH is feeling better, he had you worried there didnt he? Men, when something small is up they are the biggest babies but then when its serious, theyre all mucho! Now he can get back to looking after you :D

mumma jessy, good to hear you're feeling better hun, what an annoying virus!I am finding out the sex of our bub but DH doesn't want to know, so I can't tell anyone either (except you guys ofcourse! :devil6: )

Jules, My NT scan is booked in for the 15th which is next Monday! Can't wait........it seems agesssss away........... then my 19 week scan will be end of Feb begining of March.......that seems even more way away..............Hope you start feeling better soon hun!

Well, nothing much going on here, besides a little queasiness today, sore and itchy boozies too:confused: .....go figure, but thats it!

cmd's mum isn't it going to drive u crazy not being able to buy pink or blue stuff !! As soon as I find out the sex I'll be so excited I'll tell everyone!!!

I hope everyone with morning sickness is starting to feel a bit better.

Just a quick update. As some of u know I couldnt get in for an app with midwives till I was 19weeks and they said "u'll be fine till then" I went to the doc today coz my NT scan is on Wed and I need a referal and I saw a dr I've never seen b4 and I really liked him so he suggested I do shared care. He got the doppler out, did my weight, measurements of belly etc. This means I only have to go see the middies 3 times throughout my pregnancy, all the other times I see my dr. I feel heaps better now.

Hi Everyone - remember me!!

I'm still here floating around, but haven't posted for a while. I'm so confused going between the 2 threads (Jul/Aug).

I had my first appointment at the hospy yesterday. Saw a m/w to do the paperwork and she had a (half-hearted) go at listening for a heart beat but couldn't find it - so later I had to see the Doc, so I didn't say she already tried, so the doc had a go and picked it up!! :yelclap: I'm really looking forward to my scan next week.

DS has got chicken pox so I had to have a blood test to see if I've had it. I get the results tomorrow. I think they just give the antibodies if not - like if you aren't covered for rubbella.

Jkat - Glad your DH is better men always have to get more sympathy you should know that :p

Lil X-man - Will update below but hope you start feeling better soon but i know the feeling having a good day & then it all hits again the following day its such a downer !

Len - Oooo CP hope all ends up ok tis always the way isnt it !

Me hah well what can i update on mmmm im sick  lol yep i have my head in my bucket at least 4 times a day now because i cant even make it to the toilet in time. Boof has no gone from making the noise to actually dry retching in his little bucket. Does anyone realise how hard it is to calm a toddler while vomitting !!!!
Today was the first day DP started a rehab course & well while i coped ok i plan to head to my mums tomorrow for help cause i cant do this alone. It runs for 12wks meh so hopefully if i can go there a few times a week for help or my sister comes here it will at least be something !
I havent made it to the doctor because i cant physically walk i barely make it round the house between the gagging, vomitting & cramps. But she has been on holidays anyways so she will do a home visit next week thank goodness !!!! I need the drugs !!!!

Anyways wishing everyone all the best with their scans coming up ! Take care :)

Hi Everyone

Allyoo:hugs: Wishing I lived closer so I could come around and help. In terms of what to do with toddlers when you are being sick - well my DS1 laughs at me...when I was really sick with Travis and had to go to the hospital he was there wanting me to keep being sick in the bag!! Sorry no advice, except swapping children:p Best of luck with DP, glad you have family near by.

Len - glad to see you. so exciting about hearing the heart beat, I still have a couple of weeks before I see my midwife. Oh yuck Chicken pox, poor DS, hope the blood tests come back ok for you. Let us know how you go.

youngmumSteph: glad you have your care worked out, although I thought you would see the midwives more even with shared care. But as long as you are happy with the care you are given!!! That is very important.

cmds'mum; Glad not much is happening:D, relaxing, calm quiet time is so important.

Lil-xman; MS did last awhile with my other two, but not this bad, well if it did I blocked it out lol. Its not lasting as long in the morning, but the nausea is still bad first thing...oh and when I get hungry. Glad to hear you are getting lots of rest when you can.

Mumma_jessy:Glad to hear your getting better. We try to keep the sex secret when preg with DS1 - didn't work. When is your next scan.

Well still feeling queasy in the mornings here, just wanting to throw up but nothing happens. Still very tired, and everyone seems to notice even people I talk to on the phone. But I have a busy couple of days coming - going to meet a bub hubber today -so excited :smiliedance:.

I was really worried about DH, he doesn't get sick often and this was so different from anything he had in the past. For a male he is usually pretty good, will only take time of work when really needed and that fact that he took 4 days off work got me worried. All is well now, and don't worry I am making sure he is looking after me, just about to go and wake him up and get help getting breakfast for the kids!!!

Have a good day everyone. Chat soon.

Lil-X - Hope your feeling better, and the headaches have stopped. I mainly get mine at night, but they have not been too bad the last few days. :fingerscrossed: they stay away!

The most exciting thing happening is for the last few days i get little flutters that i notice, mostly when i'm lying in bed on my tummy, but yay, it starts i can feel the bub! I hadn't felt my other babies move by now, but i guess it's gets earlier when you know what your trying to feel for?

Anyone else feel their bub yet?

Hope you are all well!
