Wow your doing the bachelor of nursing course, how cool!! Were you enjoyin it, was it hard? Yeah both Natalie and i are so busy at the moment trying to arrange our weddings. Natalies is this weekend, shes so lucky that it'll all be over for her soon. Some advice on labour well theres not much i can actually tell you. All i can say is relax and it will be over before you know it. Ive also given this advice to others as well that is, with every contraction that goes by, your one closer to seeing your baby! :D Also with the sex of the baby, everyone was telling me that i was having a boy and i didnt believe them. When i say everyone, i mean everyone. There was people in the street, family and friends telling me that. They told me that i was having a boy because i was carrying all out the front. I never have believed in old wives tales until this one was true. Well i hope ive helped you in some way and best wishes with everything. You can PM anytime you want to talk.

YES i was enjoying it very much, but i had to stop once i got pregnant due to having very sevier morning sickness which lasted till i was 23 weeks. I didnt find it hard just very interesting, i love learning new things and hope also to complete a midwifey course after nursing. Everybody also says i am carrying in the front thats why i suspect its a boy but i got told in the ultrasound it was a girl. How often do you think they get it wrong lol.

Hey Jen,
Just a word of advice...never believe that you can determine the sex by the way you're carrying your bub! It's the most stupidist thing to go by!
Everyone has different body shapes, therefor we all carry our bubs differently!
I had everyone telling me "you're having a girl" and iknew it was a boy by the ultrasound...i proved them wrong, it was a boy! :D
So don't listen to them when they say it, it's rubbish lol!
Good lucky sweety!

Hi Jennifer how are you going? Ive never heard of a irritable Uterus before did they tell you what it was when you were there? I hope your feeling a lot better now. Unfortunately towards the end of pg you get all weird signs and symptoms. Just think of it like this its almost over and soon you'll have you beautiful bub in your arms. Let us know how you're going! :)

hey naomi, yeah themidwife said i had an irratable uterous, all she said was that it ment it is very sensitive and every little stretch or even movement of the baby i was feeling it 10 times as bad, and thats why i have been getting heapss of painful braxton hicks contractions.
I have been feeling so ill this week like nausous, is that normal to feel like that at this time??? i cant wait to hold her i am looking forward to that moment sooo much :D So how old is jayden?

Sorry how far along are you again? I think i recall you being in late pg. You can be nauseous anytime of pg and even more at the begining and the end. I wouldnt worry about it too much its perfectly normal. Jayden is 6.5months old. Believe me you'll get to hold your bub in no time and enjoy it while it lasts. Jayden is already starting to push me away when i want to hold him! :(

Hey Jen
Good Luck for the Future!!!
I agree with Natalie that the way we carry our bubs does't determine the sex of the baby b'coz it's basically dependent on each person's size n shape.
Since u r doing Nursing I suppose u know that the baby's position is not static. It changes when the baby moves n their r different lies in which the foetus presents itself.I know all this b'coz I m a Bachelor of Nsg.(honours)graduate from India.
I also enjoyed my studies but didn't got a chance to practise as I had my DD soon after my graduation.Since then I m a SAHM.
Also People used to tell me that I m carrying a boy(when I was PG)due to all tales but it turned out that they were wrong!!!So do not go by the Tales(That's why they r called tales).
Anyways good luck once again n Happy motherhood :)
Take care

Hi jennifer. hope you pregnancy has gone well and best wishes for the birth. My son's 8 weeks old and he's only just starting to develop a personality now. 'm a sahm from brisbane and dont go out much. If you want to chat my email address is originalcindy_101@hotmail.com and I ahve msn messenger. Anyone else is quite welcome to add me and chat as well.
Jen
I just had my first baby - A little girl and EVERYONE told me I was having a boy cause I was carrying all out front - even though I thought deep down I was having a girl. I even had one lady at my work tell me that I was DEFINATLY having a boy and there was NO WAY I could be carrying a girl and she wanted to bet me $100 cause she was so sure she was right ... well I wish I had of taken that bet now cause I would have been $100 richer :)
so I have to agree that I think that way that you are 'carrying' is NOT the way to determine the sex of the baby and you should stick to your deep down 'gut' feeling cause its probably right!

lol that just reminded me of that when I was pregnant my belly button popped out (I think it was inevitable that it would pop as I had a hernia on it when I was younger so it protruded alot to begin with) but this lady came up to me and said that because my belly button popped that I would have a boy, well I did have a boy but I had never heard such rubbish in my life, I know plenty of people that belly buttons stayed nice and hidden in their belly's and they had boys!
