Just wanted some advice really. I had a M/C last friday on the 1/12 and the blood flow has really slowed down now. I was 7 1/2 weeks when it happened. i had an appointment with my ob yesterday and he did an internal scan that showed that my body had taken care of everything and i had a complete M/C. I therefore do not need to have a D&C.

He said that i should ovulate again in 2 weeks, get AF in 4 weeks and then we are able to TTC when i ovulate again in 6 weeks. He asked me to do a HPT in 2 weeks to make sure that my HCG levels are back down.

have you guys found that AF came back pretty quickly? My DH and i really want to start TTC again as soon as we can.

thanks

Alysia

So sorry for your loss:hugs:

My experience was this: I had a D&C on 16/5 and had my first AF on 1/7 and fell pregnant that month.

Good luck, hope it all goes well this time 'round.

Im so sorry to hear about your loss. As for advice i suggest to take it easy and not to stress or get upset. I had 4 m/c in a row. I got to 8 weeks with the first. Then m/c the next month but was only a week. m/c at 6 weeks a month later. Then m/c again a month later. After all that the next month we were pregnant again and now we have a DD. But maybe take it esay for the next month or two and start again once our cycle is back to normal.

I am so sorry about your loss, I know how devasting it is.
I m/c on the 2/11 and AF came for a visit on the 29/11. I was only 5 weeks and I didn't need a d&c.
I bought an OPK last night so I will be giving that a go next week! I was in the chemist for about 15 minutes last night trying to work about which one to buy! lol
My thoughts are with you.:hugs:

thanks for all your replies. its really comforting to know that i am not alone.

my bleeding has almost completely cleared up today so i am happy about that. I have never seen so much blood in all my life!

Angelickaren - How wonderful that our two little ones are born on the same day! My DS is growing so quickly! Its scary.

jac2210 - I bet it was confusing finding an OPK. which one did you end up getting?

hayles86 - I am sorry to hear that you had 4 M/C in a row. thats very sad. But how strong you must be to have made it through. I have heard that having a break in between M/C and TTC is a good idea. I will try to stay calm and relaxed!

I ended up getting the Clear blue one. It is digital and comes up with a smiley face when your LH levels increases. It cost 70 bucks and comes with 7 refills! I also looked at the saliva test too, which was $85.00. Expensive but well worth me thinks!:yelclap:
