I think Katie is gorgeous and has a fantastic voice, Missy who??
Katie's hubby Zac hosts a radio program on Sunday mornings on 4ZZZ for those in Brisbane, worth checking out, my DD seems to enjoy waking up to it.
Katie is also in a three piece Jazz band with her hubby called Elixir and they had a baby boy this year called Dexter. So as well as an amazing singer, she's also a mummy.

sorry - bit late coming into this thread. i love katie noonan. i've seen george a couple of times and they are fabulous. katie's voice just goes through you. and she's gorgeous as well.

I love George & Katie. Dh & I discovered them b4 the became well known. They really are talented!! We think their 1st album is GREAT!!

Has anyone heard that jazz album she did with Paul Grabowsky? I never heard of it until the ARIAs.

I've just got to say that Katie is my claim to fame. I went to uni at the same time as her when I was studying composition and she sang one of my songs that I wrote!! Unfortunately when I got her to record the song I got one of my friends to do the sound engineering stuff you have to do and he wiped the first bit of it, and I've also somehow managed to lose the tape I had of the session. Sounds suss doesn't it? It's all true though - I promise!

I have heard some of the new CD and I have the feeling it would grow on you over time, but it's not as "accessible" as her other stuff.

Hi O's Mum. I agree. Katie has an awesome voice but it is so distinctive that when a couple of songs end the same way, it's a bit odd.

That said, I saw them play live at the Paddington Festival in Brisbane about 5 years ago and collected all of their early George CD's.

I think I like Tyrone as he has a real 'Jeff Buckley' sound.

i love katie she is fantastic the voice of an angel i think! I love the cd she done with paul! its great! i play it when i feel like relaxing or when i have people over for dinner!

and I also love the songs her brother does, he is great too!
Together George is amazing. I have seen them a couple of times live and loved it.

I saw George live a few years back and everyone in the crowd (including myself) was just standing there total transfixed and mesmerised by Katies voice, it was awesome.
