Can ring pull thingos!!

Hey this isnt such a big ask, so I am hoping fellow bubhubians can help.

A friend of my familys son need a wheel chair and he has been told that a company will buy one for him IF he collects 150,000 ring pull thingos from Cans.

Now he is doing the best he can but that is a $hit load of cans.

I am hoping since it would only cost $0.45 to send me some that you kind, loving, supportive fellow bubhubians would help me to help them.

I swear to you this isnt a rought!! Its the real deal.

Please pm me or post on here and Ill give you my address to send them.

Please do the best you can, if you are anything like my family you would have alot of cans going through your house.

Im not sure there can be Cat food ones.

If they are the same size as drinking can ones I dont see why not, But they did ssy to me the ring pulls off all my drinks.

I am seeing them again next monday but I told him I would have as many as possible by the following monday. So at the very Latest i can recieve them on the 15th of December!!

Our famliy actually already collects them and then passes them on to those charities anyway (we have heard of it before)...

Good Luck in your quest but I was wondering what the company was that was willing to swap ring pulls for a wheelchair? I have read on snopes many cases like this where ppl have collected soooo many ringpulls and they are useless iykwim?

He showed me the letter he got from this company, but I forgot the name:o !

Maybe its something like collect as much metal as the chair will need??!! I dont know.

But In the letter he is reassured of the fact that if he gets the specific number 150,000 than he will get the wheel chair.

So I gave them 4000 just before Christmas and the look or happiness was too much to put into words.

I just spoke to them today and they have 15,000 ring pulls.

Coca cola do this as they figure that majority of the ring pulls come from Coca Cola products. We did this also for another family.

They where very happy I thought I already posted about it.

The family gave me a bunch of flowers a few days later which i told them should of been a case of coke so I could furthur help whilst getting my caffiene fix.

I think this is a fantastic cause. It would be nice if we could keep it up and be able to donate to a child in need from the bubhub community.

If anyone knows of the companies that do this, can you send me their details and I'll do some research on how we as a community can keep this going. Or woven_wings if this was what you were getting at I would love to give you a hand. I have quite a few contacts with corporate hospitality so I might be able to get some head way there.
