Ok this may sound weird but before falling pg I was a maniac...loved my sex and chased my DH more than he chased me.
Now it hurts I don't want to do it, this upsets me as I used to love it and it felt so good...
Now does it hurt because something is not where it should be? or could it be stress about my baby? I am always thinking of him and am wondering does it hurt because I can't relax?
how old is your little one? as far as I know it shouldn't really hurt if you had a c-sect and if it does hurt it would only be around the wound,

There are two things i could think of - reduuced vaginal lubrication related to breastfeeding. This could be easily fixed by getting soething from the chemist.
Also yor cervix is still attached to your uterus that has a healing scar - gentle is probably the way to go.
I would see your doctor however to rule out anything else.
Good Luck

How long between, erm, bedroom tangos?
Does it hurt because it's your first time since Spencer? or is it just an always thing.

seek its only been two times :o How embarassing! Its like being a virgin again, I hate it. We use lubricated condoms as we don't want to get pg straight away and DH does not want me to take the pill while breastfeeding (even the mini pill)
I don't feel like it is dry, but it is quite painfull... The scar does not hurt, its higher up.

DH and I had sex two weeks after my c/s and it was quite tender, not really painful, but a little uncomfortable at first. Within a couple of weeks, there was no discomfort and it was back to normal....which was great. I had no problems with my scar.
Without getting into TMI territory....does it hurt more in certain positions? You may need to try positions that don't put pressure on your abdominal area.
I guess when using condoms, although you may not feel dry, extra lubrication may reduce the pain.
I have to agree with pickles.....go gently and if you are still worried about the pain then see your GP or obs/gynae.
Good luck ;)

The first time I had sex after my second csect was the worst pain ive ever felt and therefor in the next few months DP was lucky to come within a foot of me. I didnt think lubrication was the problem either but it killed. Within a few months it was back to normal though so perhaps it was related to breastfeeding as it probably got better once I stopped feeding my daughter.
Until then I never knew of this but since experiencing it and talking to some of my friends it seems a few of us are the same with the pains after a csect!
Bit unfair if you ask me! lol

I haven't done the deed post pregnancy as yet, but when I had my iud fitted the internal hurt like nothing I'd felt before... I just wanted to cry....
And like Pixie it was like it was "tighter" than it'd ever been before....
