Hiya my fellow pregnant women,

This is my 3rd pregnancy and at 8.5 weeks (LMP) I have already felt that first flutter and last night at 2.30am after waking up witha full bladder I felt some definate movement on my right side.

Do you think it's possible to feel something now?, and Have you felt anything this early with subsequent pregnancies?

Thanks
Anita

I think at this stage it would be too early wouldn't it?? Considering the baby is only 2-3cm long.

I thought i felt something the other night too, but quickly talked myself out of it, as i am only 8 weeks too??

Hmm, google time me thinks!!

Ok this is what one site said, they all say women who have had babies before usually feel it sooner, but none say how early :banghead:

The woman will internally sense her baby moving first. The timing of this is very individual but it will usually happen at some stage during the 2nd trimester of the pregnancy (between 12 to 28 weeks). In most cases, some form of awareness is first sensed between 18 to 22 weeks of the pregnancy, but a few women will notice occasional, vague sensations from as early as 12 to 13 weeks, and others will not feel their baby definitely 'kick' until about 23 to 25 weeks.

Thanks mumma_jessy.

At first I thought it would be way to early as well, but then I thought maybe I'm further along than I think

Oh well, will find out on Wednesday if it was all in my head or I was feeling what I thought i was feeling.

Thanks
Anita

I sneezed the other day and felt "something" in there. I really do think its in my head though cause I'm only 6 weeks

However, I have been feeling other little "things" in there which makes me feel even more that there are 2 in there. Either that or I am completely insane!!! :D

It could be wind, I feel little flutters etc when I'm not even preg and it almost convinces me I'm pregnant because it feels so real.
You never know but I'd doubt you'd feel it this early:detective: .
I can't wait to feel bubs move, that is truly my favourite part of pregnancy!
