we're finally engaged!
DP had the ring for about a month before he finally asked me if i'd marry him. he was waiting for the right moment apparently, which ended up being in the town where i said would be the last place i wanted him to ask me:D but it was the place where we met over 6 and 1/2 years ago.
we went to visit relatives 600km away and while in the town where we met visiting his mum we went down to the park and had lunch, sitting at the exact same picnic table where we first met. it was so nice, just the three of us and my beautiful ring.
i haven't worn any rings for years so it's taking a bit to get used to :o
