ive been doing some reading up and asked a few people and im always getting different answers.

How long can i keep expressed milk in the fridge for? i know in the freezer it can last for 3 months, but ive been told the fridge from 24 hours, up to 8 days!
I keep adding more milk untill i get 100ml, and usually takes 2-3 days, then i freeze it. is this ok.
thankyou.

EBM is warm when expressed so needs to be chilled before adding it to previously expressed and chilled milk in the fridge.

Avoid adding EBM to frozen milk.

Note the date and time on containers -so you use the oldest first.

EBM can be stored in the fridge for 3 to 5 days - keep it at the back of the friodge where it is coldest.

In the Freezer - 2 weeks in a freezer compartment inside the fridge; 3 months in a freezer section with a separate door and 6 - 12 months in a deep feeze -(minus 18degrees or lower).

As with any other foods that may not be fresh, please remember the motto - 'If in doubt, throw it out'. Discard any leftover, previously frozen EBMmilk after a feed
