There seem to be alot of us floating around here! How many of us are there? Or is it just my imagination? :detective:

I finished my post-grad-dip 3 years ago and have been working, first as a mental health clinician with the psychiatry unit of a public hospital, now as a counsellor with a department of justice funded victims of crime program (gosh that's a mouthful!)

Interesting thread, Phineas! :)

Only 2 psych subjects left and the rest are fill ins and then I'll be going on to Honours. Can't wait!:smiliedance:

Good luck to Phineas and Bishmum in your psych studies.
I also studied psychology and graduated in the mid-90s. I have done some post-grad studies in social work as well. I have worked in a number of areas including public hospitals - paediatric, maternity, adult, aged, oncology, palliative careand transcultural mental health. I also spent 5 years working in the UK which was an awesome experience. More recently I have been a coronial counsellor (counselling families affected by sudden death) and children with disabilities/head injury in children's hopsital. I also do some private practice as a counsellor.
