coleslaw

ok i just did a thread on potatoe salad, ive never made coleslaw before. How do you all make that?

Coleslaw is easy, just shred cabbage, finely chop onions, grated carrots and mayo!

For the coleslaw:
Half a cabbage, shredded
3 or 4 carrots, grated
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and grated

For the dressing
About half a jar of Heinz mayonnaise
about 20mls of balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper

* Half each of shredded red & green cabbage. Either use processor, sharp peeler or knife - I like it fairly course so use a knife.
* 1 large carrot, grated
* 1-2 green apples, grated
* spring onion, finely chopped

Mix altogether and use Kraft Classic Coleslaw dressing (this is my favourite ATM!)

mmm i love apple in potatoe salad but never had it in coleslaw before sounds so scrumptious. i will have to try that one.:thumbsup:

I usually shred half a cabbage, grate a few carrots (3-4) then add grated cheese and add mayo and mix up. Yuuummmm!!!

I usually shread red and green cabbage, grate 1 carrot, finely slice a few spring onions & yellow capsicum, then add coleslaw dressing (kraft light) and about 1 tbl spoon of Norganic golden soya mayo. :thumbsup:
