O pains question

Hi i was wondering when everyone that gets O pain gets it.
I have had fertile cm for the last 7 days, it has changed today and my temp has risen by 0.2 degrees finally today, the thing is i have had bad O pains this afternoon on my left side and going down into my bits (sorry if tmi).
My question is do you think i O'ed yesterday or maybe today or am going to tomorrow?
If you get O pains do you get them before you O, during O or after O?

Any replys would be appreciated thank you.

I never knew there was such a thing!! I never get/got any pain, and the same with AF. I am one of the lucky ones I suppose....

I seem to get them before, during and after O, although afterwards they are no where near as bad.

I have only Od three times and I got them twice.

Me too!! Though, they seem worse after my fertile CM is gone (when Im lucky enough to get some!)

Same here I get them for a whole week, two days before O at least , O day and a couple of days after then they subside. ( thank goodness as I find O pain makes Bd'ing uncomfortable sometimes sore?!?!?)
I voted before, because I notice them most just before O.

Well, I think I get them pretty much right about when I O. I usually have a distinctive ache low in my abdomen and sure enough, either that day or the next my temp goes up.

Having said that though, Fertility Friend doesn't necessarily agree that that particular day is exactly when I O - but, I figure, that's just a computer program, it doesn't feel what I feel!

Well my temp has dropped again by 0.4 degrees :confused: . I thought i must have O'ed for sure as my fetile cm had gone and my temp went up but now im not sure.
Don't know what is going on im now on cd 19 :confused: .
I still have a slight ache in my lower abdomen but nothing like yesterday.
Spose i will just have to wait and see what happens.

Mayby the pain is imlantation pain cd 19 seems pretty late for 0 but if you have a long cycle then it could be ovulation??

Sounds pretty familiar to me! I never O until about CD19 and it is reasonably common for many women. Some people dont O until CD 30 or 40 - and still get preg!!
I usually get a temp drop on the day of O - cos the hormone that releasees the egg can cause your temp to drop. I would say that if you have O pain and a temp dip that you are Oing today. Feel free to check out my chart - i was pretty confused about my O this month and I think that cos we only take our temps once a day that O dates can be out by 12 - 18 hrs. I reckon I o'd the day b4 ff says i did, or the night b4 what ff says.

I get o pains within the few days before oing and then get more pains day of!

i found that last cycle (where i know i o'd for sure cos i got a BFP) i had a strong pain on one side (i cant remember which) that through out the day got slowly stronger and stronger then suddenly stopped about 11pm. (i figured thats when the egg was realeased, when the pain stopped) so in answer to your question just before o only, i had EWCM in the middle of the day and then the pain started in the afternoon.

I get O pains the day before and sometimes the pain can be really bad, but it only last for a few hours so I can put up with it. I actually don't mind it becasue at least I know that I am ovulating!
I came off the pill in July and I had forgotten about the pain! I can remember my mum taking me the doctor when I was 14 as she thought I had appendictis :)

:thumbsup: Thanks for the replies. I think now that today may be O day, as i now have ewcm again. i still have the ache in my lower abdomen but not as bad, guess i will find out soon enough.
