Cute Kids is great!! They are owned by the Gorden Management Group, which have a great reputation in the industry, and have been around forever.

They only charge $80 for the whole year to cover admin etc, and unlike lots of other agencies, they ask that you send in photos of your baby every month or 2, and don't make you pay for a portfolio that is normally not very good anyway.

My DD has been with them for approx 8 months, and has got 3 jobs from them, as well as being asked to go for LOTS of other castings but because i work part time, i wasn't prepared to take days off 'just in case' she got the job. Now that i'm so far pregnant with #2, we haven't bothered with castings for the past 2 months either, and i doubt we will go to any more once the new bub is born. One of my friends daughters joined up at the same time, and has got 2 jobs as well.

Another great thing about Cute Kids is that they only take a select number of children (i think under 20 babies) lots of agencies have THOUSANDS of chn on their books.

Their website is www.cutekids.com.au check it out!!

My DD is on the first babies page, wearing an aqua wrap with her hair in 2 pigtails!!

Just beware of ANY agency who asks for big $$$$$ up front, if they want your bub then you should only have to pay a small fee, if any. If they think your bub will make money, then thats how they should be making money off you, not with ridiculous up front fees when there is no guarantee you will even get any work.

Cute kids looks really good and seem to be a lot better in their ways then what I have seen. Especially on the $$ front. I just wondered. .

Are you obliged at all to go? Like if they want you to bring your bub in etc. . if you dont go does it cause a problem? I imagine there is a contract of some sort. Cause Id love to send pics in to see if they are interested but worried what would happen if I changed my mind??

I haven't been for more castings than i actually have been to, for whatever reason- work, too far pregnant, or too difficult to get to. They still contact me when there are castings, so i'd say they don't mind too much!

you have to sign a contract, but thats just mostly to agree that you are not with any other agency, that Cute Kids will get a percentage of your earnings (i think 15%) and that the agreement is for 1 yr only.

If you change your mind, you can just let them know and i'd say that would be it!

aware: this is just a friendly reply to you and others when searching for modelling agencies.
I went through 1 i Sydney for my 3 children Top Tots Modelleng agency.

Cost an arm and a leg $300 each child, then portrait of each 1 @$60.00 each, and for what nothing.

Never heard from them, nor recieve feedback, and when I did a search for top tots they were really known.

So please be sure to really look into any agency before jumping in.

Oh and quite expensive
cheers

Bambini is a scam!!!
They have over 800 kids and they get NO work at all!! I have friend with the most beautiful kids with them and they don't even get a call! She rings and they say the same thing every time, it's quiet for that age at the moment!!
$550 a rip off!! Us parents who just want our kids to do something that they love and all we are doing is lining some rich pigs pockets!!!
Seriously they take every kid!!! Keep away from them!!!!

I have my daughter with Bambini. they had really crap management a year ago but they have made huge changes and it is really professional. they definately get heaps of work for their kids and always have. i heard recently that Brats models are under cutting prices for their kids just to get work which means the kids aren't getting paid what they are meant to. if you are looking at getting your beautiful child into a modeling agency, i recommend you go to a few and see which one you like best. all the good ones charge around $500.

agreed babymum!
we were rang 3xtimes to go to casting calls from bambini they never phoned back to say if we were successful/unsuccessful as they promised. took days off work and everythin unpaid for brodie to get nothing. Very disappointing and to think they sent me a renewal they can take their contract and shove it as far as im concerned!

From what my friend has told me their NEW management is no longer with them!!
My friend told me that the new manager wouldn't sign every kid like they wanted so that person left!!

we went to roseys model management, it was a recommendation from a family friend who got work there, i think she got about 3 jobs with them.

We paid roseys for one year, were told there was a lot of work available for kids like my son (he was one year old at that stage) i think we paid about $400 or $450 for one year.
we got a professional photo session done, and got the pictures on a CD.

In the whole year he was registered with them, we only got one text message for a casting call for bonds, but they wanted babies up to 18 months, unfortunately my son was about 22 months at that stage.

i didnt bother signing him up for a second year.
