Hey all you mummies who sling (sash/ring sling type)... what do you use as a nappy bag when you're out and about?
We're breastfeeding so I don't need anything for bottles and what-not but nappies are getting bigger, and heaven forbid I want to use clothies when I'm using the sling. (also in a month or so I'll be having to cart around food)

I have a handbag which unclips at the handles so I normally stuff 2 nappies and a gladbag of wipes in that and then put the strap through the ring part of the sling and reclip the handles.. but yeah, it's getting a bit small :(

What do you use?

Good question I would like to know too. I use the pram when by myself and the sling when DP is with me (he can take the nappy bag LOl)

I had a little back pack which i used at first & then as i needed to stuff more in i used a satchel that would cross over the other shoulder. Nowadays we also have the stroller so everything gets piled into that lol.
If you look on ozebaby there is someone who makes slings & the satchels !

good question. i use my handbag because i use sposies while we out but will use cloth when we get a new car seat (he doesn't fit in the capsule with a cloth nappy on, the fat little porker).

I bought a nappy bag and its bloody humungous. Has pockets for bottles etc etc etc which we don't need.

I have a GR8X bag. It is the satchel and it has a back pack straps built in too. I used it yesterday like that when i was out and about... It was really good.

http://www.gr8x.net/interiorpages/signature_range.shtml - Its the stylish satchel one in black...

I find it too small for G now tho - so i am on the hunt for a new bag...

I normally have sav in the sling and bella and zach in the twin pram so have plenty of storage room there but on the odd occasion I just have bella or sav in the sling and no pram I have a kapoochi denim backpack which works perfectly :D

I have one of those bags that looks like a sling? So with bubs in the hugabub, slingbag over neck and shoulder, im ready to go.

Hm I was thinking of those slingbags.....

I don't understand how a backpack would work, since the sling is to sit over the cap of your shoulder... hence why I can't continue with just a bigger handbag...

I do love that change wallet Pixie :D

I use a baba sling for my nearly 16mth DD, and have used a kapoochi little nappy bag backpack (it came attached to a larger nappy bag we only use on holidays).

I quite often cart Sarah around in the hugabub and use a backpack nappy bag at the same time. It works fine for us. It's not a fancy bag, just one from K Mart.
