Sore breasts

For a couple of weeks i have had aching breasts usually when i am in bed asleep,i wake up(laying on stomach) and feel my breats burning/aching i dont have very full breasts they are just normal i have been bf for 5 months have never had sore breasts or nipple never been a problem in that area.Bubs is attaching good he is feeding 6-7 times a day.I just dont understand why they are so sore.I woke up this morn and i was in agony.I have no pain when i am actually feeding though:confused:.What could this be?I wouldnt have a clue!

I am not sure but maybe? mastitis?? my mum had that it was agony and she stopped straight away...

I had it with dd#1 while trying to breastfeed it was AWFUL pain

I think this might be it cause my son has got white and red spots on his tongue this would explain everything.I will see the doctor about it see what she says.

I dont have thrush on my boobs so i dont know what else it is :confused: the doctor said it could be cause i am laying on them and then the milk comes in?

How'd u go at the doctors in finding out???

The doctor said i dont have thrush but thinks it might be my milk just coming in when i am laying on them there is more pressure which makes them sore.
