I know these aren't at the Gold Coast but they're as far south as I can find.
If anyone has any others please add them to the forum as I live in Beenleigh and the Coast is probably closer than some of these!
I have found some Baby Shows in late October and early November 2005, they are all on the South of Brisbane.

Finals judging: 10:00am Sunday 30th October 2005
in the Government tent at the Jacaranda Festival, Evan Marginson Park, Goodna.
Winners announced on-stage at 2:00pm Sunday 30th October 2005.

9:30am Registration
$25 includes all novalties
