Hi everyone, just want to know if anyone else feels overwhelmed by it all at times??
I've had such an awful day, been crying, and feeling pretty depressed wondering about the meaning of life and whether or not I've gone the right way about everything, from getting pregnant, to what I'm eating.
Does anyone else get these feelings? Is this something I can blame on the hormones?

I dont feel the same way you do, im trying to enjoy and embrace being pregnant as much as i can.

But yes i definitly think you can blame it on the hormones!!!

Its funny how hormones can make us ride the rollercoster of moods and emotions! I had a teary day yesterday, but after a cry and a little lie down, i found myself much better it was funny how things changed. I have hung up a newborn jumpsuit in my wardrobe, and whenever i feel a bit blah i go look at it, and it makes me smile and laugh, it is so small and i think aww its just too cute.
Bring on the 2nd trimester! I hear we feel much better then!

I can definetly relate, last saturday night I was watching a few DVDs and DF was in the kitchen, so I was sitting on the lounge and all of a sudden I just started crying.. I cried for about 3 hours on an off.. If I am watching something and someone on it is crying then it sets me off big time.

God knows why one of the movies I was watching was Sisterhood of the travelling pants.... EVERYONE cries in that too!

:hugs: for you, it is just the pregnancy hormones, and it will get better!

I think we all have a moment like that usually after the big excitement of becoming pg then it all hits you like a ton of bricks, best thing to do is have a good cry then focus on all the positives and look forward to meeting your new baby/babies:yes:

And yes I think it is totally normal to feel overwhelmed on occasion too - your life is about to change in a HUGE way so it's totally normal to feel a bit unsure.

But just remember that having a baby is the most beautiful thing ever - you will never know love properly until you have your little one.:)

Thanks so much everyone, I think it's just what I needed to hear. I'm glad I can blame it on the hormones!!!
I had a huge cry to my DH last night, and he was great, and I think I got most of it out, so now feel much better!
I think it also had a bit to do with stressing about not working at the moment, so have applied with a temping agency, and that has taken some of the stress off too.
Thanks again!
