Hello ladies,
I have had a few bouts of thrush the last couple of months (never had it before, not sure why now and def NOT pregnant). I find it hard to know what my mucus is doing when I have the more fluid thrush discharge. I can't tell when I am about to ovulate from mucus.

Anyone else had this problem?
Anyone know if it is a problem when TTC? I have been using the cream with applicator but seems to reoccur.
Thanks

If the thrush is recurrent, probably best to see your GP...You may need something stronger than the OTC medicines.
Also, has your partner been treated too? It can come back if both partners aren't treated.

bugger... sorry i hit the wrong button!

* I use Dove soap, with no fragrence to wash down in the region
* Always wipe yourself thoroughly after bd'ing, if you can even pass urine...

When TTC, i will wait 1/2 hour before wiping myself or passing urine (just so those swimemrs get a chance to reach my eggs!!!!)

good luck TTC

Def have a talk to your doc - they may suggest cutting down your sugar and yeast intake which feeds the thrush bacteria - and increasing yoghurt intake. They should be able to prescribe something to help clear it up in the meantime.
Sometimes stress (like stress of ttc!!) can make you more prone to getting it, i used to get it with my period every month but cutting right back on sugar and bread(with yeast) b4 my period was due has meant it hasnt appeared for the last 3 months at all. Hope that helps.
Best of luck with ttc!

hey there. Have you tried canestine in your wash? I used the cream, and it kept comming back, then when I used canestine wash rinse in my washing machine with Jocks and Bedding, I have not had it come back. You can get it from coles in the detergent Isle, Its about $7.00 and one of them last me 2 months or so... Good luck, cause you are soooooo right, it makes it very hard to detect teh mucus. and it really makes it harder for the swimmers to get to your egg with the Thrush discharge/bacteria working against them:eek:
