Hi Everyone,
Just thought I should introduce myself, seeing as though I've been hanging around for the last few weeks.
My name is Simone.I have a darling husband, and of course a beautiful baby girl Sienna, who is now 4 1/2 months old.
We live on the gold coast and are currently building a new house at Oxenford.
I'm already getting hassled by DH about the amount of time I spend on Bubhub.
I find it great, with heaps of interesting info. You all seem like lovely people, and some of the replies give me a good giggle.
Anyway, looking forward to chatting with you all! :D

If we ever get the time, ummm! The Sunshine coast e.g Mooloolaba. Before bub was due,Kingscliff, which is just over the NSW border.Somewhere a bit slower. :)Must say we are pretty lucky up here though. But you have to be careful with the sun, especially babies delicate skin.

DH wants to go to the Gold Coast for our next holiday, we have been once before. He is just a big kid :o Can you please tell me; where is the best place to stay if we wished to visit the Australia Zoo and also the theme parks? Peferably in a holiday cabin. Hope you don't mind me asking :)

We live in the SE of SA where it's cold one day and raining the next. Opposite climate to you.

Maybe not so different today. It's raining with thunderstorms & hail. They said to expect heaps this summer.
I don't know much about anywhere to stay naer The Aussie Zoo,but down here I know of a couple.
Depending where you want to stay. There is Main Beach tourist park,it's very close to Seaworld and Surfers, and across the road from the beach. Then there's Broadwater tourist park, they have nice cabins along the water. It's probably a bit quieter and very central. The last one I know of is TreasureCove. They have heaps of facilities and is very close to Harbourtown, but not along the water.
Hope this helps, maybe you can look these ones up!

Hi SiennasMum,

I'm from Beenleigh so you could probably consider us neighbours....
just thought I'd welcome you to the bubhub and stuff. I've only just recently joined from the huggies club forum!

Hi siennasmum,
I too live in Oxenford on the Gold Coast, did you get hit by the hail storm last week? We did and needed over 400 roof tiles replaced, not to mention all the other damage done to the ceiling, pergola and our boat.

I'm pretty new on here too, look forward to talking to you all !

Hi Sharlee, The Australia Zoo is at Beerwah near the Sunshine Coast (about 1 hour north of Brisbane) and the theme parks are toward the Gold Coast (about 45 minutes south of Brisbane) so there are a few options dependant on where you want to be.

Welcome Siennasmum - Hope you enjoy BubHub !
