When to send 40th B'Day invites????

Ladies and Gents, I need your advice.

I am planning a 40th Birthday party for my hubby in February next year. We have friends and family coming from across the country and I was wondering when we should start to send out the invites???

If I send them out in the next week or so, do you think they will get mixed up with Christmas mail? I was thinking if this was the case, they may get overlooked???

I really don't want to leave it much longer as the people coming from the furthest away, I would like to give them as much notice as possible.

The night is aso being catered for, so I guess the sooner I know numbers, the better organised I will be.

What do you all think???

:thumbsup: I would send them about 6 to 8 weeks before! That should give ever one heaps of time, to get organised.

I sent them out 6 weeks before my DP's 40th BD then about 3 weeks before I reminded people and comfirmed dates times and place etc. It all worked out fine with everyone turning up!

6-8 weeks is plenty of time to give them so that they can organise things if need be.

I would send them now as ppl go away over xmas and they could get lost in the mail....plus pp might need to plan ahead financially if it is interstate.
