Scary isn't it---
Imogen started rolling from her tummy to her back about 3 weeks ago.
I popped her down for a play- went to the toilet and came back she was on her back just smiling at me!!! Boy was i surprised... so now she thinks its funny to roll from her tummy to her back nearly everytime i put her down to play!!!!!
Where did my newborn go???? :(

WOW! Maggie is now where near doing that and there is only 5 days between our bubs!! Isn't amazing how they get to different stages qickly and others they are a bit slower  . Mags has only just started to like "tummy time" I can maybe get her to stay there for 3 to 5 mins max! Then she will either crack 'em or put her face down and suck her fists! Perseverance! She will love it soon I spose! She has on the other hand been bring her hands together in mid line since birth!

Imy was really early with the rolling- have an argument with the MACH nurse who said she shouldn'tbe rolling yet was i sure??? So i put imy down and over she went- didn't the MACH nurse eat her words- he he!
Imy is just really persistant- knows her own mind- boy am i in trouble when she hits 13!!!
I love the babbling stage thaat Imy is at, does Maggie babble at you, almost as if she is telling a story- soooo cute!!!
With the tummy time, the ladies in my parents group suggested rolling up a balanket and placing it under her- at nipple line so she is raised a little bit, then placing some toys in front of her so she can reach out!! Also i find that if i put Imy down while she is still really happy and alert- that seems to work better!!! Otherwise she just gets grumpy and yells at me- its a fine line between happy and grumpy i must say :)

Mags was babling heaps but has quit talking to me lately, she makes me work really hard to get her to coo and just sits there looking at me like I'm an idiot! I think she will be great at the silent treatment when she gets to 13! 13 OMG she's not going to be 13! I want her to be my snuggle baby forever!!
As if you wouldn't know if your baby was rolling over! It's not like is that a wind smile or a "real" smile silly MCHN, I think the fill in MCHN (my usual one way away) pinched Mags last time I was there, Mags got really upset, there was tears and all - they only come if she is really upset, she squeezes them out!!
Thanks for the tummy time tip, I have got one of those concertina first focus books that I put out in front of her, but I will try some toys and the blanket next time she is up. I know what you mean about the fine line b/w happy and grumpy! I thought my moods changed quickly! I've got nothing on her!
