I was having a chat this morning with a friend who lives in London. He was riding the tube to work the other day when a woman started to breastfeed her baby. The man sitting next to her glared and said "Do you really have to do that?"

"It's either this or I let him scream in your ear until Wesminster" she replied.

The carriage errupted in laughter around them and the guy slunk off at the next stop

My friend said it was the funniest thing he'd seen all week and gave the lady a smile.

Ohh funny, Good on her, silly man!

I am off to live in London next year, no one says anything here in Sydney when I pop my boob out for a feed, but we all know the English can be so prudish. Will be interesting!

 Nice one lady!
I'm still working up the courage to plonk my boob out for feeds in public, I want to be able to do it because i'm sick of hiding behind 'some' of the publics expectations. For gods sake she's a baby? SHE EATS BOOBY!

I was always flopping mine out - never got so much as a look:laughing:

Would be really uncomfy doing it on the tube though, poor woman!

Good on her. What an idiot of a man.
I have no problem flopping my boobies out wherever I am. If my boy is hungry then I feed him...simple.
Mind you it does get awkward pushing the pram, chasing a toddler and walking along in Woolies trying to do your grocery shopping. Its amazing how its always halfway round the shop that they realize they are hungry.
