Another Christmas Meet

Ok so after some discussion on Saturday night some people cant travel to Homebush so anyone interested in a meet around City/Darling Harbour?? Any suggestions as to where or what date?? :D

Is there a date set for Homebush yet so we dont have it the same day incase people want to go to both??

Will add a poll when i can work out how to do it :cool:

Is there a park in the Botanical Gardens? Those big old trees are awesome for shade!!!

The main reason the homebush one came about was because Luna park didnt seem very young kiddie friendly. The city is always welcome but last meet we discovered that there wasnt much shade or room for the bubs that can run around and with the water so close it was hectic for some mums.

Some of us cant or dont want to travel to Homebush but still want to meet up for Christmas. I know there are alot of you that come along way for the meets at Darling Harbour and its only fair that there be meets close to you guys too. Me me me!! Darling Harbour works GREAT for me - I'm a lazy old sod and my monster hasn't quite figured out how to run into the water yet. Give him a week or two, though :eek:

Hyde park has lots of trees, is near 3 stations (Town Hall, Museum and St James) and David Jones, Myer and all the food courts are just a stone's throw away. As is the art musuem if we all want to get all faffy and things :D

Hyde pArk is lovely and there are the DJ chrissy windows too! I might kill two birds in one trip and get Maikys chrissy pics done if the day choosen isnt a work day!

as i stupidly posted this in the other xmas meet thread which has already happened i will
have to post this again here in the right one....stupid me...


i am no longer available for this meet. DP is coming home tomorrow nite after having been working away for a couple of weeks.

he has been working away ALOT, being gone for a few weeks at a time and only being home for maybe 1-2 days in between if we are lucky. this is turn has caused alot of relationship problems and he is missing out on seeing his son.

he finishes work for the year tomorrow nite and is coming home and decided he is takin the 3 of us out for a well needed family day on the same day as this meet, funnily enough he is takin us to the city although we wont be going down to darling harbour...lol.

so sorry we cant make it this time. but i hope all you ladies have fun :D post afterwards and let me know what we missed out on :D

Well, I have been on DH's case for abour 5 or 6 months to buy a second car, and he has finally lined up some test drives.......tomorrow.

That's why I end up doing ALL the Christmas shopping. I have been diing it while DD is at Occasional Care so that I don't have to deal with her too.

And there's always ordering online.....hahaha!
