wet face washer... icypole (depeding on how old he is), drink of water... take as many of his clothes off as possible...

and call for someone who ahs a thermometre.... check it.. if it is over 38* off to the doctors

oh.. and as hard as it is.. try not to cuddle him too much as that may overheat him...

if it is really hot, chances are he is just having troubl ecooling himself down, the above strategies should work :)

Give him some panadol and try and get something to take his actual temp if you can.

Just keep a wet face cloth on him to try and cool him down.

Hope he's okay!!! :fingerscrossed:

and try cooling down his feet too, wet washer on the soles of his feet, that always wirks with my kids, along with the panadol. just make sire that you get hold of a thermometer adn if need be take him to the doctors. let us know that he is ok.

Hi,
Also watch for convolsions.
If kids heat up too much they can fit, I have one that if temp above 38* he fits.
Best bet DR's...
Also are you sure its heat rash and not measels?
They are going around...

I hate to say it could be measles my DS1 had it last week even though he was immunised and the rash looked very similar although he only had it on his face and arms. He said it was sore to the touch too.

Hope it's not but maybe get it checked out.

im sorry, im no expert on rashes, my best bud at work is though...

personally if you're going to put a cream on.. something basic like sorbolene.... but essentially, until you know what it is i would stay away from soap/chemically creams.. anything that might irritate it...

get to the doctor when you can.. sorry i can't help...

q: is it raised? most fot he heat rashes i have dealt with have been spotty... blotchy.. more so, but not raised...

my ds1 used to get rashes like that up untill he was 1 wen ever he had a virus. very common in bubs.
re the thermometer the braun ones for bout 100 bucks are the best thing you can buy as sometimes its the only way you know the kids are ill
good luck
