I bought one of these today and within 15 minutes, the extensive design on the cup was all over his hands and mouth - it was just rubbing straight off with thick slimy ink!
TT can't be contacted on the weekend so I cannot advise the toxicity of the ink however I have requested feedback on how such a product could have made it through their strict standards.
Steer clear of this one in the meantime !

I'll keep that in mind. :) Thanks for letting us know.
Thanks for the warning. Hope you son will be ok. I just bought 2 Tommee Tippee cups (Nuby one's) and the are great - no designs :) I've contacted Tommee Tippee befrore - had leaking bottles - and they are very reasonable... offered to send me replacements. Good luck.
hey...
isn't it annoying when a company you trust ... stuffs up!!!!!
I hope they sort it out and organise replacements for you!!!
let us know how you go and what their response is... :)

Well, Tommee Tippee offered to send me a prepaid package to return the item to them, then they would process and refund the cost of the item.
This was almost two weeks ago now.
They note that this is a problem with this particular product and they are replacing/refundng when they are called. Strange that they weren't interested in where I bought it so they could recall all of the other ones on the shelf.
It's not the faulty product that annoys me, but more the way the company resolves the issue. Still waiting.....

I have one of these but had no problem with the ink coming off. Hopefully it was just a very short term manufacturing problem!
This thread is from two years ago, so I'd hope that they would have rectified the problem by now. I'll close this one. :)
