No I do not think that they would be very hard. I have a friend who recently made a nappy pavlova http://www.babydesserts.co.nz/nz_nappy_pavlova.htm

She had fun doing it and it turned out really nice.

My Mum and Dad also sent me a bunch of flowers when my little girl was born and it was actually socks, bibs, singlets all rolled up to look like roses - very nice an effective.

Have a go - I reacon that you will be able to do it.

 I have made numerous nappy cakes before.

All you need to do is work out how high you want your cake to be... if just the one layer or two or three. I like doing 3.

For mine I usually buy a 50 pack of disposable Baby Love Nappies (look for the specials) and that will make a large 3 layered nappy cake.

Then you just open up the nappies, roll them and tie them and the seperate them for 3 (or how ever many) layers and tie the nappies together with the most nappies on the bottom, leading up to the top. I then put a baby blanket or cot quilt around the bottom tier and either tie on with ribbon or use two nappy pins. I then add baby suits, socks, toys, dummies, etc. to the other levels. Its a neat idea.

Ive also made baby bouquets (sp?). You just need socks, bibs, a romper or two, etc. whatever you want to buy basically... then roll up and fold in half, place in a box and stuff in other items, you can add plastic leaves from the cheap shop too.

Hope that sorta made sense... if you need any more help let me know. Its hard to explain just in words.

Like what has been said... if you google 'nappy cake' or 'nappy cake intructions' you will get heaps of results and ideas! Let us know how you go!!

i ended up buying one of those little miniture trollys and filling it with stuff instead, eg. bottles, outfits, a little bear. the bubcake was going to end up frustrating me, so this was ust as cheap, but fun and easy to make.
as soon as my sister returns my digital camera ill take a pic and post it.
