Hello - I'm new to this site and was hoping maybe someone can help me. Hello everyone. Hope you are all doing good. I am in my 2ww after IVF. I'm supposed to go in for my bloodwork on Tuesday. Of course I couldn't wait and took a HPT last night. Well it came out positive (It was amazing to see that line after so many BFN's). I took another one this morning, different brand, and that came out positive also. My DH doesn't want to get too excited because he feels we should wait til the doc confirms it on Tuesday. I understand his thinking and agree, but couldn't help but be excited. But now I'm having doubts if the tests were even right and I'm getting myself excited to just end up with a huge let down. Could they of been evaporation lines, left over HCG from the HCG trigger shot, caused from all the progesterone we're pumping into me. Anyone have any thoughts? Could I have tested too early and these BFP's are wrong?

Nice to see someone from the USA - welcome to this site.

Now, if you meant your test is on Tuesday 28th, and you tested Saturday 25th or Sunday 26th ( a bit difficult to work out what you mean by last night due to time zone differences) well then I think you should be confident ( and overjoyed:smiliedance: )that you are pregnant. The HCG would have worn out of your system by now and two different tests say the same thing.

However, if you mean the test is on Tuesday 5th December, well you could still be pregnant but it may be the HCG.

Nov. 4th - Started Injectables
Nov. 12th - HCG trigger shot
Nov. 14th - Retrieval (15 eggs, 9 fertilized)
Nov. 15th - Started Progesterone shots
Nov. 19th - Day 5 ET (2 transfered)
Nov. 25th - 1st HPT
Nov. 26th - 2nd HPT
Nov. 28th - 1st beta

I think you are on a winner hun - the blood test is so close in dates to your last HPT that is does sound very hopeful.:fingerscrossed: :fingerscrossed:
