I am looking for a trainee Doula either in the Bankstown area or someone that is willing to travel to the Bankstown area.
I am almost 12 weeks pregnant and due around the 18th of June. I will be having my baby at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital, I live 5-10 minutes drive from the Hospital.
This is baby #2 as I already have a son, 11 months old. Although I had alot of support from my partner and mother at the birth of my son, leading up to the birth and during my labour I felt like things couldve been alot different and largely felt I was ignored for how I wanted things to go for my birth ( I can explain further through PM or email). Someone with experience, such a Doula, I believe couldve prevented that. I would like this birth to be alot smoother and less complicated than the last one.
I would love to have the Doula experience this time around but just cant afford to pay a trained Doula. However I would discuss paying for fuel expenses etc should you like to take me on as part of your training.
