How long should you continue to sterilize baby bottles for milk and water? Some say 6 months others say 12 months?
Sometimes you just gotta do what you feel is right.
Most of us go at least 6 months. Cos then bubs starts getting mobile and interested in thing and is picking up all sorts of germies from the floor etc. So sterilising is a bit of waste at that point.
Just giving bubs things a good washing with detergent and hot water and a good rinse should suffice!

I sterilised DS's bottles until he was almost 16 months old (yep, about three weeks ago). I have no idea why I kept going for so long.
It took my MIL to stop me and it was a big event to put the steriliser away ..... so many issues, so little time..... :D
I would agree with Nicole - once they are mobile, having sterilised bottles are probably the least of your worries as they are picking up germs everywhere they go. ;)
