Present ideas for 2yo boy

I need to buy a present for a 2yo boy's birthday which is tomorrow and I'm after some ideas please. I'm going to the local shops only today because it's hot and there's a Target store there so something that I can buy at Target.

a book maybe, or i am also going to a 2yrs old party today and i got from target yesterday a pack of those cards that when you slide them apart have the word in the middle - they say on the pack 3yrs but ive got them for my 2yrs old and he love them, mind you he has also ripped a few by sliding them a bit too hard!!
