Hi there,

I believe the only correspondance courses are postgrad and in specialities or to recertify. No nursing or midwifery schools offer undergrad distance study unfortunately.

Hi Erin,

Congrats on your pregnancy.

Your best option is to do english and Biology through a correspondance college and then enrole in a direct entry midwifery course, but that will be on campus.

The other option you have is to do a doula course like optimum birth via correspondence, where there are no pre-requisites and you still get to work in the field of pregnancy, birth & babies.

The University of S.A offers distance direct-entry midwifery. Contact them and good luck! :)

:D Ohh Erin! I'm in the same boat, interested in the same deal! How exciting :smiliedance:

I was planning on waiting to become a mature age student. (21 years if age) From what i've heard so far you can go anywhere from there.
Good luck!!:hugs:
