Andrew has always loved the el-cheapo bag of turtles and fish that we bought him when he was about 6 months old. He's 21 mths now and still adores them. Except now he actually plays with them properly and makes them swim around and makes 'ne ne ne' noises. Oh,and he likes to make the fish and turtles kiss each other. Strange, but it entertains him :)

His other favourites are just tupperware - jugs, cups and containers.

Of all the bath toys we have bought, only the cheap ones have lasted the distance!

Those little birdie whistles that you half fill with water that warble - literally months and months of earsplitting entertainment. And a watering cans and buckets.

My daughter loves the set of duckies she has.

And her book!

She loves to turn the pages and is starting to say 'duck' and 'truck' and 'tractor' (well thats what it sounds like! )

My DD has always loved her bath crayons - and they wash off the tub fairly easily too.

Rubber ducks have always been a hit.

Any containers to fill with water and then tip out are great for keeping her amused.

i buy cheap $2 toys from those little asian shops. those are the best places for well, alot of things. they have heaps of stuff there. if you find a good one, you can find ones with heaps of baby stuff, formula containers etc.

but the ones DS has are various sizes and colour fish, various sports balls, a turtle, a duck... they all make squeaky noises too and they are soft enough for DS to chew on (he chews on everything )

oo DS also loves these stacking cup things they each have diffrent holes in the bottom so u can put water in one and catch it in the other and then same things again, some go really fast and others slow, they were in a cheap shop for $2 i agree the cheap things for the bath are always the best.

I don't know where she got it from, but veve gave me a cool frog.. I know Cobey's not 9 months yet but I don't see the novelty wearing off.
Anyhoo, the frog is like a sponge/soft toy and it ribbits when you squeeze it.. cobey loves to play with it now and I squeeze it over his head :)

The boys mostly love cups and jugs.. nothing flash! They do like boats too tho but not as much as cups. Bella likes cups mostly and then ducks! :D They have lots of fancy 'pour water into this and this happens' ones and all that but they just aren't interested lol

James loves the Finding Nemo squirters from Target (and likes drinking out of them), and also the plastic bath books. He also likes pulling the sticky non-slip decals off the side of the bath.

DS loves the foam shapes. He sticks them to the side of the bath, tiles, screen, his belly, each other. He also likes to chew them. They actually are a puzzle that go into a foam "book" but he is not old enough to do the puzzle, but he likes to take the pieces out.

I think DP got it from Borders Book Store.

Of all the bath toys DD has she really only likes her duckies. She will cry if we take them off her. She holds onto them for dear life. LOL!!!
