Dear Parent/Caregiver,

I am currently completing my Masters Degree in Psychology at the University of Queensland, Australia. If you are a parent or carer of a child between 2 and 16 years, I would greatly appreciate your time completing an online survey.

The survey takes approximately 45 minutes to complete and can be accessed at the address below:

By filling out the survey you are greatly contributing to our understanding of the how families function in real life situations. The information you give will be used to further develop efficient and effective programs to support families with the challenges they face around parenting. The surveys contain questions about parenting styles and life stress. All information collected will be confidential and anonymous.

Hi Tim

I completed your survey - I hope it's not too late.

I just thought I'd mention that I thought it was a bit negative. :gloomy:

If we have a really positive view about parenting but a challenging child, I wonder what outcome that would have ?

Hi I did it too. It might be a bit off putting that it says it takes an hour. I went through and it probably took 15 minutes max.

Agree with the mrsd's points about it being somewhat negative.

I did it. I didn't have an issue with it being 'negative' becuase I could see where it was going (I think), but I did find it really hard to answer if you practice gentle parenting - a lot of the discipline questions related to situations I would never have found myself in in the first place :no:
