Hi my DS was in it for a year and he got called to 2 castings but no jobs. We didnt want to spend heaps of money on them again its like $550 a yr. I would think carefully before signing that piece of paper. Good luck though if you decide to join!! :fingerscrossed: :D
thanks heaps for the info if mason gets accepted we'll probably join see how we go in the first yr then go from there. thanks heaps. what kind of things do they say/do in the interview??

I personally think its risky no matter what agency u go with. DS has been with Bambini for 9months now and we've had a few calls, no jobs.....I dont think its worth the amount of money u pay.
Hey Guys, I am in Melb and I have had my son with Bambini for the past year(no jobs at all) they gave me the whole speel about how great my son is and everything and he should do fantastic...I have not heard from them until just recently when they were asking me for more money to renew.... I had my son with another agency when he was 6 months old and he received alot of jobs,(k-mart cats etc) we only stopped because he had had enough... I thought I would Bambini when he asked to do it again and nothing...... I would be careful guys, I have now learnt and am going back to where I first began..
Goodluck....
Hi guys, with all agencies you are taking the same risk. It's up to what the client is looking for and no matter how good your agent is at marketing your child etc, unless they fit the exact measurements, colouring etc, they won't even get a casting. My 2 girls are with Bambinis this year and my eldest had her 1st casting the other day and when we got there they put my little 1 in the casting instead, so who knows? Good luck everyone

Hi , My son has an appointment with brightstars on monday . do you know if they are any good ? if you dont mind me asking .... what agency did your child go to , to start with . hope to hear from you soon .
We paid ******* Models & signed up on the day of selection (with numerous others), all being told how gorgeous our little one's were. Then it's up to you to make contact with them every 3 months or so to update your photo's (they have way too many people on their books to be able to deal with anyone direct).
I would always have to ask them 2 weeks after sending in my recent photo's why they hadn't been uploaded yet.?
Then a year later I had to remind them of my child's "free" photo re-shoot.
Whilst there the second time you only deal with the photographer. No one else is interested in you.
I got to reminisce & see all the new recruits waiting to go in & be told how lovely their little one is etc.
I had the opportunity to talk to some other parents who all had the same thing to say. They paid & then they too heard NOTHING.
All I can say is "why are they taking on soooo many people", it's all income related to keep them afloat.
If this can just save one struggling family from signing up & handing over good hard earned money then my story has been worth it.
"All children are beautiful" - so how does one pick a single sole out of a crowd of thousands! - think about it
