I thought I 'd start a thread to share funny stories about TT. It can be such a stressful experience for both parent and child that it helps to see the funny side at times.
Tash started TT herself at about 18 months by telling me when she had dones poos or wees in her nappy. i told her she was a good girl etc and then the potty came out. She has been quite good about using it for wees for awhile now I try to keep nappy on till she has done morning poos. I am keeping a really casual approach. She had previously only done 1 poo in the potty.
Anyway today we had just got home and Bec was screaming for a feed so i was in the kitchen making a bottle when Tash walks past and hands me a nappy and says poos. i look and sure enough full of poos. I say OK but next time please use the potty. I clean her up and start feeding Bec in the lounge room. Tash has no nappy on and is sittng on the rug in front of me. Suddenly she yells POO POOS and runs to the potty in the laundry I just assumed she was going for a wee as she had just done poos. She is really good if she spills milk or anything about going to the draw and getting a cloth to wipe it up so when I heard the draw open I assumed she had missed the potty. Kept feeding Bec .... then I look up to Tash standing in front of me with a cloth absolutely covered in Poo....as was Tash. She had done a poo and tried to wipe it up:eek:
I had to say all the good girl:thumbsup: for doing the poo and calmly explain that we tip the poos down the toilet not wipe out like wees. She was so proud of herself and I suppose she had done the right thing by going to the potty then cleaning up a mess she had made but I tell you it was funny once I had cleaned the poo from the laundry, Tash, floor ,wall ,draw and potty:laughing:
Bit of a long story that sorry:ecomcity:
Cheers
